Publisher's summary

This twisty novel from the New York Times best-selling author of We Were Liars and Genuine Fraud asks: What if there were infinite universes and infinite ways to fall in love?

If you could live your life again, what would you do differently?

After a near-fatal family catastrophe and an unexpected romantic upheaval, Adelaide Buchwald finds herself catapulted into a summer of wild possibility, during which she will fall in and out of love a thousand times—while finally confronting the secrets she keeps, her ideas about love, and the weird grandiosity of the human mind.

A raw, funny story that will surprise you over and over, Again Again gives us an indelible heroine grappling with the terrible and wonderful problem of loving other people.

"Inventive, philosophical and romantic." (Gayle Forman, number one New York Times best-selling author of If I Stay)

“What if falling in love had infinite possibilities and multiple universes exist? A lyrical read that’s also fun as it addresses myriad truths.”—SLJ, starred review

I love the author

E. Lockhart gets me. She writes from her heart this melancholic coming of age tone with a very feminine perspective. The heartbreak she creates and the vision her writing has, is something both relatable and beautiful to me. I’ve read her novel we were liars and now have heard this one. I will continue to be a fan. Please check her novels out!

Not a fan of multiverse

Because this book is written with multiple versions to scenarios, and because those scenarios pop up without a cue from the narrator, it sounds like glitches. I was so confused I had to quit listening and switch to reading it on my kindle. At least the multi-versions of events are written in a different font so you can figure out wtf is going on. The characters and the storyline are interesting, but the multiverse writing style ruined it for me.
