Twisty turny and another great Agatha Raisin story. Beautifully performed and just a good tale of murder, money and mayhem.

good mystery that I didn't guess the murderer until later than in the previous books. I like the series but am glad (spoiler) to have an end to a certain ongoing relationship. a perfect light hearted cozy not too cozy mystery.

I have been working thru the series- very easy listening. I can identify with Agatha building a life for herself as a middle-aged woman. There a bit of comedy at times, And I find myself laughing out lout occasionally.

Agatha and Mr. Lacey are FINALLY married however, it’s not all sunshine and roses. When James is attacked and disappears, all kinds of secrets about their marriage comes to light including his affair with the local tart. When she ends up dead, Agatha and Charles are on the hunt for her husband and a murderer.

The reader does a good job with all the different characters. The story was fun. The murders are like Perry mason, the one that dies is not a sympathetic character.

Hurrah!! James is gone! A character that I never liked, and am looking forward to Agatha's character to finally move on. Worthless he was and she pined over him...
A fascinating plot with twists and turns, not at all making sense until the end. A pleasantly easy listen!
Penelope Keith's performance continues to make the books come alive!
