About this listen

Tara Heinz began her modeling career at the tender age of twelve. After spending fifteen years drooling over forbidden foods, she does the unthinkable. She enrolls in culinary school and becomes a pastry chef.

After a nasty breakup with her rock star boyfriend that leads to tabloid war, Tara takes a job at a rural lodge in Oregon to escape the spotlight she no longer desires.

James Cavanaugh is a farmer in Oregon. His days are spent building his business and his nights are spent sleeping, so he can get up at four in the morning.

Ruby Cavanaugh has plans for her son that involve her new pastry chef. Of course, neither James nor Tara know what's going on until it's too late.

I enjoy this collection and looking forward to book 3 of this series. The only complaint is when the readers attempt to change voices for other characters. To me it just sounds so quirky. why Not have the authors record together so voice changes are not so weird.
Continue the wonderful work Whitney D.

Enjoying Whitney's writing

Although the main characters are well written, the author throws in random facts about side characters instead of weaving the side characters into the storyline.
The female read had an excellent flow. The male read was bearable for the voice of the main character and sounded forced for all the other characters especially when reading as Rosie.

The story was nice
