I loved Alice in Wonderland as a child and it was so nice to listen to visit this incredible story with a spectacular voice actor. It really brought back happy memories.

I honestly don’t quite know how to accurately describe this book. First of all, the performance by Michael Page was quite good, and overall the experience is good.

But man! That story is just so weird! It really is just a series of totally random and completely insane occurrences. There also is no particular point. No one thing drives the story forward. Alice just goes from one random weird encounter to another. Then the author pulls the “it was all a dream” at the end and the story is over.

Classic story everyone thinks they know from Disney. Not so fast. There are a number of things in the original that did not make it into the movie or that were added too. Give this a listen and you may be surprised at what you hear. I know I was, and most pleasantly.
