About this listen

A dramatic new Alien novel, as Weyland-Yutani seeks to recover from the failure of Hadley's Hope and successfully weaponize the Xenomorphs

With the failure of Hadley's Hope, Weyland-Yutani has suffered a devastating setback - the loss of the Aliens they aggressively sought to exploit. Yet there's a reason the Company has risen to the top of the food chain. True to form, they have a redundancy already in place...the facility known as "The Cold Forge".

Remote station RB-232 has become their greatest asset in weaponizing the Xenomorphs. However, when Dorian Sudler is sent to RB-232 to assess their progress, he discovers that there's a spy aboard - someone who doesn't necessarily act in the company's best interests. For Dorian, this is the most unforgivable of sins. When found, the perpetrator will be eliminated with extreme prejudice. If unmasked, though, this person may be forced to destroy the entire station...and everyone on board. That is, if the Xenomorphs don't do the job first.

Truly loved the characters and their ambiguity. The Aliens were truly monstrous and written oh so well. Thank you Alex White for bringing the horror back to aliens.

The Best Alien Book Yet

I love the Alien series (books and movies) and this was a fantastic book and narration. Really good characters and setting in this one. The narration was excellent.

Great story and narration!

This book was somewhat similar in plot to the 4th Alien movie but brings some fun new elements to the table. It seems to be more about the humans than the threat posed to them by the aliens. The book started out pretty slowly but, once it picked up, it’s intensity continued to increase. The narration was top notch.

Pretty good addition to the series

One of the best ones yet! Loved it! Good plot twists. New material, but still faithful to canon.

it was okay, would has been better if it was done as a dramalitzation like some of the others.

story line was good, didn't like how it reads

I'm not sure who is portrayed as Dorian, but I hope whoever can think of those Twisted scenarios has seekedmedical attention. And gotten some professional help.

Really, it is almost a copy of Alien. The characters a a bit jumbled around, but it is fundamentally the same story. Even so, it is good and well written. The narrator does a good job too.

Was very strong until the ending was so bad that I felt like the entire story was a waste of time and hadn’t been worth the listen.

Choked at the end

I loved it! I loved the interludes and how you got to see each ebbing from each characters point of view and I loved how the so called weakest link on the ship was the sole survivor and is still screwing over the company. If there's a continuance of blu's story or even Dorian's specific alien creation, I'm here for it. I'm thinking Dorian's alien comes out special somehow and ends up being like the leader of the aliens and hunts down Blu somehow.

thrilling

I honestly enjoyed the hell out of this audio book, brutal just like every alien movie/book with a sence of despair like no one is coming out alive. Alex White did a splendid job of portraying the alien's and how they appear differently from a chimpanzee host. Also a pat on the back to Michael Braun for his narration and spine chilling description.

Great Listen
