Publisher's summary

As half-angel Willow battles her parasitic otherworldly kin, romance and tension heat up to a climactic series finale. In the devastated remains of the world, millions now live in Edens provided by the angels that have all but enslaved the human race. As mastermind Raziel's stranglehold on humanity tightens, Willow, Alex, and the rest of the team race to recruit new Angel Killers and form a line of defense. But then a shattering revelation sends Alex on a doomed journey, leaving Willow and Seb hanging in the balance. All three must face the consequences of their choices - and when everything Willow loves is threatened, she returns to her roots for a final showdown with the angels. Worlds collide with epic intensity in a startling conclusion to L. A. Weatherly's inventive trilogy.

Very good, not quite great trilogy.

You won't miss too much if you don't get around to this series, though it was a very enjoyable read/listen. The narrator is always great and the concepts behind this book are thought provoking, while the book itself is pleasant and entertaining.

ONG what an ending!

What made the experience of listening to Angel Fever the most enjoyable?

Everything, the story is great and the narration is first class.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can't decide, Willow, Alex and Seb all draw you in, not surprising since they're the main characters, but I can't pick a favorite between them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, the book evokes the whole spectrum of emotions and some parts of this book were nails biting into the edge of your see tension/drama.

Any additional comments?

I loved the whole trilogy and this was a fabulous final book, loved the ending.

If I could have given more than five starts I would have for all three books.

Clenched

The story is Ok and while mostly predictable, does have a few surprises. My main complaint is that the author uses "clenched" so often that it got so I ground my teeth every time I heard it again! Her heart clenched, her stomach clenched, his jaw clenched .... good grief!

better than the last 2

I feel like the relationship between willow and Alex was less annoying this time around. and I didn't like that their half angel forms can be shot with bullets and recover and yet a broken wing disables the angel form forever. but overall I was ok with how things concluded.

The best

Would you listen to Angel Fever again? Why?

I have read thousands of books. Read. I was so against audio books and audible. This changed my mind. Angel Fever is a recent purchase, and because of the experience with audible I jumped in and bout two books today! The narration was so fluid, the performer put her heart into the story and it came out as if I was watching a movie. The narrator was so gifted! Besides that, the book was amazing. So, in short, yes i would!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Angel Fever?

The end, the epilogue. I loved its ending. I loved the happy ending that the author didn't make easy to get to. So many pitfalls for the characters, it felt realistic, even though its science fiction.

Any additional comments?

Great Story! Omg, a must read. The prose, the character development, the narration. All beautiful and seemless. Praise to la weatherly on this series.

Too Immature for Words

The childish relationship in this story takes up too much space in the book with chapter after chapter of teenage angst. The story which was a good one was lost in all the pediatric emotions and immature/self absorbed/selfish reactions of Willow. I just couldn't finish the book even though I generally feel compelled to finish a book to analyze the authors thought processes even in mediocre books. To the Author: Please try to take the Immature relationships out. Let the characters grow up first before you put them on paper.

Bad Audio

The audio was chunky and it didn't say the beginning of most sentences. Hate it!

"I just had to know" used way to often. In my case, I wanted to see if the would improve. It didn't.
