About this listen

Rewind.

I hit the rewind button on the old VHS tape that contains my memories, causing the past to scream across my closed lids.

Past the nightmare where Enzo Fontana goads me, threatening my family, wanting all the secrets of my MC that I refuse to give him.

Past the evil laughter that reaches me even in the sweat-soaked, pain-filled oblivion of near-death sleep.

Past the blast I thought would end me, the searing pain of the heat that melted my back, the shattering glass still lodged in parts of my body.

Past the months of loneliness because I let the one person I knew I couldn’t live without walk out of my life because I knew I wasn’t good enough for her.

Pause.

There she is.

Smiling up at me as I lean over her. Kissing her like I have the right to. Like I’m not stealing a moment in time I will have to live off of for the rest of my life.

A life that is going to end very, very soon.

I’m dying. I can feel the life begin to fade from me. My body, which has been tortured for days, perhaps even weeks - I don’t even know anymore - will give up soon.

And all I want to do is think about her.

That smile. The sweet taste of her lips. The little sounds she made as she gave me the most precious thing any woman could give a man. The love in her eyes in the afterglow.

She was mine then.

And I would forever be hers.

“Jos,” I groaned, letting the first tear leak from my eyes.

Book 8 of 8: Forever Angel gave me what I expressed need for in my mid-series book 5 review. Book 8 gave news of each couple in the series as they moved into their futures. My enjoyment of this series has grown as I went through it. This series differed from other MC series I've read in that there was less focus on random hook-ups in the present. The present was devoted to developing couples, dealing with enemies, and taking care of family. Hookups in the past were connected to current couples, so gave context to important relationships. The men were just dumb in handling women they cared about, but were teachable because the women didn't just take it and continue without doing something to change it. I disliked when a daughter gave up her inheritance to an evil father to get free of him. In real life he'd live to be a successfully self-serving politician. It worked out in the story, though. I'd say that this series gave more details about handling enemies in place of x-rated MC parties. Having someone who was unquestionably gone reappear (OMG!), and that character's story was a total surprise. This move by the writer was very impressive, not something I've been encountering in MC stories. This raised my score for the series, and my expectation of further accomplishments by this author.

The kids are obviously shaping up to be their own series in the future. I would definitely read it. The tie-in with the mafia series, which I will read soon, is strengthened at the end of the book.

great book and story line however I feel more research should have been done. all descriptions of Eureka are inaccurate. I'm a Eureka native born and raised and there are not million dollar victorians there.

disappointed in the facts

Best book in the series! Tanner and Jos's story is the equivalent of those satisfying noises videos. They love each other. They don't have too much unnecessary fuss. You just are so happy that they finally get their happily ever after.
I have to just say that Terri Anne Browning is a genius. I love her books so much. I'd say that the Rocker series is my favorite musician/celebrity series but this series even supersedes it in how beautifully it's written. I love that every character's story is on going and you get to actually hear they're side of things. The way she also connects all her other series makes you want to make sure you read all her books. I can't wait for the series the series with the kids.

I really enjoyed reading this book! The narration was great and there was plenty of action. Biker style romance and some pretty horrible bad guys.

Many reviews disliked the heroine and thought she was a bitch. She was, and there were multiple reasons why. And I understood them all. I loved Jos. Didnt agree that she kep the son away from Tanner, but again, understood why. His love for her made me swoon.. And updates about the other couples were a great addition. This is within my top 3 favs in this series. enjoyable and believable

this was my favorite in the series

I love this series but feel like the epilogue went too far ahead and while I loved it I think there is so much in between that needed to be addressed or could have been. I wanted more and there was too much brushed over. I can’t even review with out giving spoilers so I won’t but feel there has to be so much more in between the ending and the epilogue. Feel like it’s a lazy ending just rushed to get done with the book. I love this author and recommend the series. But I don’t want to see it just to the children just yet.
I seek more answers and want more

I just hope there’s more

I loved this whole series. I loved the way all the different characters weaved in and out. This was a wonderful ending to the series. I highly recommend this book and all the other books in the series.

Fabulous

First of, I completely loved that each character had their own narrator and that in every book, you'd continue to learn more and more about each couple. The twists and turns and bringing Tanner back were genius! I must admit I even shed tears three times during this series, first when Tanner blew up in the truck and "died" and second when little Lexa was beaten up and her face slashed and when she was insecure about being flower girl because of her face. I can't wait to listen to the next series about their kids.

Best MC Series Ever!
