Good story.

Reader was difficult to listen too. Lisps. Her reading for emphasis was weird. Like a 2nd grader having to sound out words in her head

Annoying

I didn’t like the narrator. And the Annie was so childish and dumb sounding. The only reason I read it to be end was because it was part of a series.

Horrible Narrator

The narrator ruined yet another Foster book for me. Not sure this was one of her best works anyway. Don't let this book scare you away from Lori Foster. She is usually a 5 star romance writer.

You can't give zero stars.

The story was trite and predictable. The characters uninteresting. But what was really bad was the narration. Ms Chapman pronounced words like she was just learning to read. Or maybe she read so pedantically because she thought she was reading to ESL students. The voices she gave the characters were grating and annoying. I hope she has another line of work. This one isn't for her.

Nearly unlistenable

Story is OK, but the narration.... Second worst narrator I've heard in nearly 75 books. (And the first sounded like Janet Reno!) It's amazing the difference in quality of readers that are found in these books. What are they thinking???
