About this listen

When her wedding to John “Basil” Henderson didn’t come off as planned, Yancey Harrington Braxton flew off to L.A. and remade herself as mega-diva Yancey B. And Basil started concentrating on his career as a high-powered sports agent.

But then Yancey’s first single, “Any Way the Wind Blows,” hit the charts, and now it threatens to blow Basil’s cover - if anyone learns who it’s really about. And it looks like the gorgeous (and ambitious) hunk Bart Dunbar might just have it all figured out.

Critic reviews

"E. Lynn Harris' newest book is an urban soap opera packed with more drama than a hurricane at a Fourth of July picnic." (USA Today)

Love this author

This is the second E Lynn Harris I've listened to. Enjoyed the characters and really find it easy to get involved with them. They can be so mixed up at one time and then get things turned around again. In this audio, the female voice took a little time to warm up to her character but finally got it right. The male voices are great.

Business as usual

I love E. Lynn Harris' book. What I would like to see is a different story line besides, boy meets girl-boy meets boy-boy leaves girl for boy. This is a continuation from Not a Day Goes By. So this is a story of girl moving on. I like.

I loved this book

this book was great just like all E. Lynn Harris books. after reading them you feel like you really know these people they feel like old friends.

However I did not really care for the male voice that was reading the book kind of reminded me of the jive talk of the 70's.

Repeat of NOT A DAY GOES BY!

I'm disappointed; its the same story thats the end of the last book. Nothing new! I thought it would actually pick up from the from NOT A DAY GOES BY. Maybe I misread the summary....I luv Sanaa (she's my gurl!) but u can tell she was just reading. That's weird considering she's an awesome actress.
