Among the President's helicopter crew, however, is a young Marine. He is quiet, enigmatic, and he hides his eyes behind a pair of silver sunglasses. His name is Schofield. Call-sign: Scarecrow. Rumor has it, he's a good man in a storm. Judging by what the President has just walked into, he'd better be.

As a South African with Afrikaans being my native tongue I was excited but also dreading the Afrikaans sections . Unfortunately the Afrikaans sections are read verbatim with a heavy german accent. I would suggest that foreign language should be outsourced as it is disappointing to hear your native tongue mangled.
Great fast paced story , disappointed Afrikaans vocals was not outsourced

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
complete with "Biff" "Bang!" "Swoosh!" "Clang!" "Snap!" "Slap!" "Boom!" and even an - no I'm not kidding - "Holy Batman" line. I don't know who would enjoy this book, but they have my condolences for trying. What could Matthew Reilly have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Write a believable, or at least SOMEWHAT believable book. This was really nothing more than comic strip super hero takes on notorious bad guy and a couple hundred of his henchmen almost single handily, kicks their butts, saves the world and gets the girl in the end. It's just silly from start to finish.Which scene was your favorite?
The whole thing just runs together, one big race from start to finishYou didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The narrator did a very good job. If it wasn't for him, I would have turned the book off an hour into it.An 11 Hour Captain America Comic Book
