It's the early days of the American Civil War, and Reuben Cole is serving as a scout in the Union Army.

This is when Reuben was young and learning how to stay alive and track. I'm glad Cole is starting to get tough and smarter. I want to see what Reuben does in the rest of the series. This is a five star book in my opinion. Colin Martin does a good job narrating this book. I do wish the same person did all of the books in this series.
