Arthur's 21-year-old grandson, Teddy, has a secret of his own: he's also gay, and developing serious feelings for his colleague Ben. But Teddy doesn't feel ready to come out yet – especially when Arthur’s announcement causes shockwaves in the family.

Arthur and Teddy have always been close, and now they must navigate first loves, heartbreak, and finding their place in their community. But can they – and their family – learn to accept who they truly are?

🎶 “And it was enchanting to meet you…” 🎶

This 💎 of a book/audiobook showed up in my Amazon Kindle recommendations upon the purchasing of another book. I was taken by the title, cover art and price of either $ .99 or $1.99. I clicked on it, 📖 about the maiden author, his UK heritage and the 📕’s British setting and the rest was history. I purchased BOTH 📕&🎧, sent out sale price recommendations, began BOTH iterations upon finishing what I was reading, including repeated listens to the 🎧.
I am thoroughly “enchanted” by the book, it’s characters, its unpredictability (when it could have fallen in to the trap of foregone conclusions) and have cherished these folks as if I had spent time with them on Barbary Lane.
I can only hope that Arthur, Teddy, Madeline & Shaq find their way in to a Matthew Lopez limited series on Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‼️

Unique and Lovely Story

This book gives all the feels. I don't typically gravitate towards coming out stories because I've heard so many, but I really liked the different generational perspectives. This was a really sweet story, and the narrators were great. I'd like to hear a continuation of the story since the characters were so well developed. The ending definitely left room for a sequel.
