Publisher's summary

When one paranormal CIA operative with no idea whom he can trust is met with an alien cover-up with too many loose ends, it leads to one heck of a ride.

At first glance, Daniel Winters is a shopkeeper with a glint in his eye and the charm of James Bond.

The truth involves far more aliens.

Presented with a cover-up slipping out of control, he faces a new brand of enemy, one who knows too much and is prepared for anything.

That can only mean one thing: They have a man on the inside.

What Daniel doesn’t realize is how close to home that revelation’s going to hit.

Very entertaining series..

Another good read BUT I do hate when a book ends without an ending! I do like Daniel and his artifact hunting, and his continuous thoughts of his parents and whether or not they're still alive. I like Ronni and Timothy and Peter, too. They are great secondary characters*******

There is no romance, there's not even a female lead so I still have no idea why they have a woman on the Goodreads cover page. And the F-bomb was used 35 times*******

As for the narration: Seth Podowitz does a fine job but when it calls for a laugh, which it does a lot, he really should laugh.
I'm just sayin'

Daniel and the two CIAs

Daniel is still doing his CIA job and working with the rough CIA. Being a double agent is making him paranoid around the office and he feels that Fortis could be on to him. In this story we see more of the aliens and Fortis’ dark intentions. Daniel was able to retrieve an artifact before Fortis, but he still did not trust his team with the artifact. There are still the nifty gadgets. Daniel still has questions about his parents and does some snooping around on his team’s computers. There are connections between what his parents were doing and the aliens. Daniel’s cover is blown with one of his gaming friends. Daniel makes him an offer his friend could not refuse. Granpa Peter and Daniel have a come to Jesus meeting where Daniel insists on full disclosure.
