About this listen

Best-selling author Rick Riordan presents best-selling author Roshani Chokshi and her sequel to Aru Shah and the End of Time.

Aru is only just getting the hang of this whole Pandava thing when the Otherworld goes into full panic mode. The god of love's bow and arrow have gone missing, and the thief isn't playing Cupid. Instead, they're turning people into heartless fighting-machine zombies. If that weren't bad enough, somehow Aru gets framed as the thief. If she doesn't find the arrow by the next full moon, she'll be kicked out of the Otherworld. For good.

But, for better or worse, she won't be going it alone. Along with her soul-sister, Mini, Aru will team up with Brynne, an ultra-strong girl who knows more than she lets on, and Aiden, the boy who lives across the street and is also hiding plenty of secrets. Together they'll battle demons, travel through a glittering and dangerous serpent realm, and discover that their enemy isn't at all who they expected.

Includes a bonus PDF of the book's glossary.

Best book ever!!!

I did’t know it was on audible until I looked. This is my favorite book ever! I would have liked a different narrator but soneela did a good job. Roshani has a good sense of humor in the book. Did I mention this is my favorite book?!

educational but slow tempo

The book is very well written, it's very educational, it seems to stem directly from Rick Riordan without one key element, the action. The action does not seem to be at the same tempo as the Rick Riordan books. You can learn a lot about Hinduism from the story but the tempo of the book makes it easy to lose interest. It's for that reason after reading the first book and now the second I'm certain I won't continue to the third.

FREAKING AMAZING

I’ve always loved series like these but in others sometimes the narrator gets a bit whiny or monotonous. Soneela however has perfect tone inflections that give you the right emotions at the right time with very authentic pronunciations attached!! The story itself is a PERFECT BLEND of girl power, uniqueness and Indian culture as Aru and her motley crew go on yet ANOTHER world saving adventure!! 10/10 all around!!

Great story, awful narrator

I really enjoy these stories, but the narrator sounds amazed by EVERYTHING! It's very distracting and takes a lot away from the story.
