Publisher's summary

Wolf shifter Broderick is stuck looking after his three younger brothers and a collar-less shifter who is driving him crazy, but he's putting up with them for Joanne, the human woman he, for some reason, wants to impress. Joanne Greene, while grateful to Broderick for rescuing her sister, doesn't know what to make of him. She's been a loner most of her life, better able to relate to computers and coding than to people, until she's drawn into the world of the shifters.

Broderick is everything Joanne is not - a fighter and a tracker, from a rough-and-tumble family, better at working with his hands than understanding the netherworld of Joanne's computer programmer life. Broderick is also extremely protective, wanting to draw her under his care as he does everyone else.

When Broderick is captured, mistaken for a Guardian, it's Joanne who figures out that hackers are after the Guardian Network, the database that holds the deep secrets of shifters past and present. Thought un-hackable, the network is now in danger of being invaded, and already a Guardian has died. Strangely, Broderick now holds the key to stopping the hackers, and Joanne, with her coding skills, is the only one who can help him.

Go Broderick!

He pissy wolf has finally managed to get himself in the right state of mind and in the right place to claim what is his. It’s no small jump on his part. Nope. He goes in head first, though when isn’t really given a chance.

He’s darted and kidnapped. His girlfriend at the time has to help find out why... and things spiral from there. The Fae are up to no good and... lord help them, the shifters are about to fall into a mess of trouble unless they step lightly.

It’s a quick, yet good read!

Fantastic story!

Wow. What a phenomenal story. Broderick has been one of my favorites since the beginning. Well, maybe not since the beginning but, definitely for a while now. I really enjoyed reading about him and Joanne. I loved to see how their relationship progressed and developed throughout the series. I must say it took him long enough to do the deed, so to speak. Also, the adventure of this story was unlike the other. I can't wait for the next book. Thanks to the author for another Awesome story.

A great addition to the shifters unbound series.

This novella is about a collared alpha wolf shifter/tracker named Brodrick and his reformed hacker girlfriend Joanne. Brodrick has been in and out through out this series so far. He tried to mate claim Maria (Ellison's mate). Brodrick first met Joanne in the book (crap can't remember) something with bear in the title. Anyways her sister went missing and the only lead Joanne had was she was last seen with a shifter. Either way Joanne sent lots of trouble to the San Antonio shifter town in the form of tons of cops. Brodrick stood up for her and it meant a lot. They became close and this is their story.
Oh and if you fell in love with the cat uncollated shifter Shamus as I did then part of his is in this as well.
Sneak peak...if you are curious about Fairy then listen in you won't be disappointed. No matter how grumpy Brodrick seems and well truly is he loves Joanne that's for sure.
Last but not least I loved David Brenner and wish he would've read all the books. He makes the alphas sound like they should but more than that I think I just liked to listen to his commentary. Enjoy..I sure did

Narrator wasn't that good at all..

I love this whole series but I do not at all like David Brenin .. he left a lot to be desired .. kinda made the book not as good as it could have been..

Shame

It did not provide much of an impact without the voice of Chris Dukehart. I missed him.
