Publisher's summary

"If you're a fan of Kristen Ashley, then you will love this book." (Aestas Book Blog on Four Letter Word)

He didn't want to be bad. He just didn't have a choice....

Shayla Perkins isn't the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean "Stitch" Molina. So when he gives her the world's biggest rejection, that's it - she's done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn't mean he's interested in her. Or does it?

Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he's paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected - especially from a man like Sean. He's tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.

Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give each other what they want most...is to let each other go?

"The perfect mix of funny, hot and heartwarming. I enjoyed it immensely!" (Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author, on Four Letter Word)

I want to be Stitch’s!

Oh this book! J. Daniels is already established as one of my Must Read Authors, but I was a bit late to the party - I only discovered her last year, some time before What I Need released and by that point I had consumed her entire catalogue to date. She has a way of writing characters in settings and situations that are realistic, relatable, and so entertaining. More than that, she writes about characters that stay with you long after you've finished the book (I'm looking at you Reese & Dylan, Reed & Beth, Riley & CJ, Wild & Trouble, and Loser & Legs). Not withstanding my deep and abiding love for the characters mentioned and the books they're from, Bad For You may just be my favorite of the bunch, though if not my favorite book, it definitely features my favorite characters. I aspire to be the type of friend that Shayla was - fiercely loyal, sensitive, empathetic, honest, self-sacrificing, and generous. And it would be an honor to recognize and love a man like Sean/Stitch. The prologue had me reaching for a Kleenex and wrapping him in my heart immediately. I'm not usually one for tearjerkers, but I happily made an exception for this and I wholeheartedly recommend this to EVERYONE. We (well I do at least) often focus on the Book boyfriends and how awesome they are, but in Bad For You, I’m all “Let’s hear it for the GIRLS!” Shayla might be the first heroine I’ve read where I didn’t think “I’d want to be her bestie IRL,” but instead “I want to BE her.” This Book stole my breath then gave me life, broke my heart then pieced it back together stronger than before. It’s a beautiful masterpiece...This will definitely be one of those books that I have to have in all of its forms - I preordered the paperback ages ago (like, as soon as that option was available) and the Audible version as well, and I will definitely be re-reading it into perpetuity. It gets all the stars.

Loved this Series!

J. Daniels is a new author for me! I loved her stories! I was hooked with the first and had to read (listen) to all three, although you don't have to. Each book acts as a stand alone but the characters continue in each book! I love when you can move into a book and live for a while! You won't be disappointed!

I enjoyed this so much!

This one grabbed me and I could not put it down! Sean "Stitch" Molina was such a mystery when I read the first two Dirty Deeds novels, I didn't dream his story would affect me so much, but it absolutely did. He was so damaged, but yet still such an amazing man, and it was absolutely heartbreaking to get to know him and what he'd been through. Shayla was such a bright light- just an amazing girl with an big heart and just what he didn't realize he needed in his life. I so enjoyed seeing their friendship develop and turn into more. Although it would certainly read fine as a standalone, the supporting characters from the first two books are definitely worth your time as well.

The narration was great- Sebastian York is my absolutely favorite male narrator, and I thought Kate Russell was great too. Both gave excellent performances.

Amazing!!

Bad for You was my absolute favorite in the series. Sean aka Stitch is sooo beautifully broken that it nearly broke my heart. I burst into tears several times while listening. Shay is one of the strongest female characters I’ve ever read and I totally wanna be her friend. In my opinion these are J Daniels best words and Everyone needs to read or listen to this book. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If only I could give it more than 5 stars!

Would you consider the audio edition of Bad for You to be better than the print version?

Yes! The narrators for this book were amazing

What did you like best about this story?

It told a story that could be believable and it Had me invested throughout start to finish.

Have you listened to any of Kate Russell and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I’ve only listen to Sebastian York, I’ve always been a fan of his and I was so excited to know he was one of the narrators! Kate Russ was a first time for me and she did a great job giving the female character a voice!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh it made me laugh and cry throughout the book. The storyline hit close to home for me!

Any additional comments?

Buy this book, not only does J. Daniels write amazing stories but they have people relating to these fictional characters!
