About this listen

"Michael Ledwidge writing solo is even better than Michael Ledwidge and James Patterson. Beach Wedding is his best yet. Incredible wealth, beach houses, murder, dysfunctional families—how can you beat all that? READ THIS BOOK!" —James Patterson on Beach Wedding

A high-society wedding party stirs up new evidence in an unsolved murder in this thrilling stand-alone from the
New York Times bestselling coauthor of James Patterson’s Now You See Her and The Quickie.

Hamptons sand… Hamptons money… Hamptons murder…

When Terry Rourke is invited to the spare-no-expense beach wedding of his hedge fund manager brother, he thinks that his biggest worry will be flubbing the champagne toast. But this isn’t the first time Terry has been to the Hamptons.

As the designer tuxedos are laid out and the flowers arranged along the glittering surf, Terry can’t help but take another look at a decades-old murder trial that rocked the very foundations of the town—and his family. He soon learns that digging up billion-dollar sand can be a very dangerous activity. The kind of danger that can very quickly turn even the most beautiful beach wedding into a wake.

The narration was excellent. I’ve listened to several by the narrator and always enjoy him.

The story was good. I won’t give away too much. But will say it was a bit convoluted.

So bored that I could not bring myself to finish it. Love the location but honestly don’t waste your time on this story.

I was looking for something to listen to while I completed a painting. As I scrolled through my credit selections I found that this narrator's voice wasn't great but at least it wasn't irritating. I was wrong. The story was great and well written. The narrator's performance was perfect. Before I knew it, I had listened to the entire book in one sitting. The author kept the plot intriguing enough to keep my attention and try to guess what was to come, even while I was focused on my painting. I think book would make a good screen play.

Kept my attention

great book, great narrator. would definitely buy another book by this author AND narrator.
author gave enough details to paint a pic without boring the shit out of the reader--perfectly balanced.

captivating

Worst reading of a book I’ve ever heard. After having heard numerous books read by Steven Webber, Scott Brick, January Lovoy and others, this book suffered by poor intonation, cadence, and expression.

The Narration Killed Any Enjoyment
