Wow! How could the second be better than the first? This book felt like I was watching a movie! Loved the slow burn and their whirlwind adventures across Asia. The spice was on quality over quantity. And now to wait for Axel’s story….

Loved slow character development taking place in action packed chapters. The main character’s story would be interesting without the romance. The romantic tension and love scenes are great.

Not a bad story but bad writing. Some of the writing is too sappy and lacks creativity. Performance was good but couldn’t fix bad writing.

The female performance could benefit from acting lessons. I loved the male performance accent.

I love this author and her books. I had already read this story but was super excited when the audio came out. These narrators did such a great job with Viktor and Blaire. Kidnapped by Viktor because his friends are held hostage, Blaire must work with Viktor to hopefully bring her grandfather home. These two had so much chemistry from the start. Viktor has such a dark past and doesn’t want to give in to feelings for Blaire. Loved the world and character building for this story. You went on the ride with them. Five stars for me and a definite listen.

This book had me. All the intrigue, a little bit of sex, and a story. Just speed up the read to 1.2 and you will love it.
