About this listen

What do a warehouse, a farm, a wedding, a trip to the grocery store, and a beach vacation have in common? They are all everyday settings where, if everything goes right, nothing awful happens.

However, sometimes bad choices reap bad outcomes. Come take a side trip to a farm where the laundry may be hiding a secret from view. Or maybe visit a nice beach, with a possibly foreboding name. And do you really know what lurks in the abandoned warehouse around the corner?

These five stories ask you to take a walk in the shoes of people you could encounter every day and observe how one bad decision can make a good day bad and a bad day so much worse.

worst short stories book ever. narration by a female not even attempting to sound masculine in some stories. to sum the stories up: Just plain stupid and a waste of time. don't waste the your pennies.

SO BAD

Normally I'm not one for short stories but these were great! Very well written to the point of being believable (which intensified the fear factor). The narration was excellent. Ms Gambino-Harris's narration was exceptional. She was able to keep a steady pacing and at the same time convey the intense emotions associated with the stories as well as keep the listener engrossed!

I definitely would listen to another novel written by the author as well as another by this talented narrator.

Very Engaging!
