Comfort For Body and Soul
This book was very comforting. I looked forward to spending some time with it every day and it really helped me relax more into my body. If you've had trauma in life whether recent or a long time ago this will help you. Get it if you feel called to it!

Really helped me

Cuddle up, a safe cozy blanket book of hope!
This is a book my soul has been waiting to be written longer than I even knew! The narration is pleasant, well paced and engaging. Deirdre and Jack passionately deliver this wonderful books model and skillsets broken down into small actionable steps for all to embrace.
Longing to integrate trauma history with spirit based psychological skills, I can not wait to put these to use and finally be free of the chains of trauma that has kept me from fully being my whole self.
Thank you for the gift of your passionate body of work, Becoming Safely Embodied, I have great hope in securing my Divine self by learning and applying the skills and exercises in this encouraging book.

A Whole Lot of Healing Going On
This book has been a catapult for me, transcending me into a new phase of recovery on my journey of navigating symptoms of PTSD. I listen to a lot of audio books centered on attachment theory, dissociation and trauma and most are good information but they are just a telling of information. This book has clear exercises that helped me to use the information in a constructive way to realize immediate relief. If you are looking at this book, you most likely suffer from past trauma and know that at times it can feel like we are nowhere to be found. Lost inside a nervous system that is continually on high alert… a slave to the physical sensation of fear and panic or conversely, complete numbness. Truly this is one of the first books I feel has given me clear, useful direction about how to feel like I can live safely in my body and be present.

Narration is awful. Like so awful. It took me a YEAR to get through this book. It’s part of a curriculum otherwise I would have returned it. Not a fave.

I can’t even
Ugh I can’t even listen to this, the narration is fit for putting insomniacs to sleep and it shuts down my mind and I literally cannot listen to the actual context of the book. Failed three vigorous attempts to listen. I really wanted to get this information but I have to delete this without listening to it having wasted my money.
