Too slow moving by far....stopped reading many times, but I liked the characters and the story drew me in.

If you can stick with it, I think you’ll enjoy the outcome

I purchased this book during a sale on Audible a while ago and tucked it away for a rainy day (it rained yesterday!). This is a Christian historical that is a bit slow going at first but speeds up as the story progresses. (Now that I finished the book I appreciate the unhurriedness of the beginning as it proved beneficial for story and character development)

Without giving too much away, the main character Meg was sent to an elite boarding school as a child by her thieving father because he wanted a better life for her. As a result Meg feels abandoned, unloved and makes bad decisions that bring consequences. Along the way she meets good and bad people who influence her life in ways she never dreamed. She learns life lessons that effect not only herself but those close to her.

Although there is a bit of romance in the story the real "love" story God's love, grace, forgiveness, and mercy for those who feel unwanted, unloved, and undeserving. It's a story of faith that everyone can relate to at one time or another.

I have to also say the narrator did a wonderful job. Her voices for both the male and female as well as younger or older people was spot on. She made the listen even better.

I recommend this book If you enjoy good faith based Christian stories with a good message of true Love. It is a book that leaves you believing there is hope!. ;-)

This book was so entertaining that it has become one of my favorites. To top it off, the narrator was excellent!

Amazing book

No bad language which is a plus. Religious portions. But lots of detail. I didn't hate it but I'm glad it's over. Lol.

It's not bad ....
