best yet

Tom is a great writer, not my favorite but definitely a good one. This is one of the best of his I have read so far and Kevin Pierce could read the alphabet and I'd be hooked lol

Good Listen

I like the author and the book was written well. The narrator makes the listen better for sure. Expected a little more from the book but was good non the less

A fun Post apocalyptic redemption adventure.

An enjoyable story of a man searching for his daughter and a chance of redemption.

good EMP survival tale

Enjoyed the characters and dialog. Plot may be a little thin, but hey what's left after the apocalypse?

Surprisingly good

I did not have high hopes for the book but was shocked at how good it was. A few technical errors but still good

Jack Reacher of the Apocalypse

I got this, for me, new series surrounding John Beck simply because I don't think the team of Abrahams and Pierce can be beat, especially in the Apocalyptic genre. Abrahams characters are the "Jack Reacher(s)" of the Prepper World. Always a great story in a world built on the anticipated destruction of our current one that is consistently finding a new way to swirl a toilet bowl. Whether that's through financial debt, created virus, coronal mass ejection or EMP, all due to the corrupt politics, willful sin and liberal attitudes that would rather excuse itself then do what it takes to get back on course, like the fall of the Roman empire, we are on track for these exact types of experiences. The 2019-2021 riots and looting, violent carjackings, home invasions and easy targeting of the Innocents, elderly and disabled proves the point that Some Kind Of Change is coming. Heartlessness was encouraged during Covid lockdowns by keeping people from interacting due to fear or selfishness. What people used to be afraid to say face2face no longer matters because most of those faces were covered with masks and the rest, usually with some version of a cellphone. Everyone can feel the "anger soup" we're swimming in.

So does the story of a man with a temper, being harassed by another basically evil man and his minions, threatening his family sound realistic? Yes!! Does that same man go on a mission to find his kidnapped daughter, helping others and killing people who victimize others sound reasonable? Absolutely!! He's doing whatever he can to stop what happened to him from being repeated. Got the next 2 books already...moving on now🤪

Different but similar

I really wasn’t sure what to make of this book when it first began. Usually I won’t connect with the “criminal being a good guy” storyline, but Mr Abrahams created a main character that makes you want to know more. Well written, this new series will be popular with those of us that like post apocalyptic books. As always, Kevin Pierce is the voice that brings it all to life! Well done gentlemen.
