Publisher's summary

They say that in space, no one can hear you...

(Yeah, you know what I'm quoting.)

But there are lots of places you can still scream and be heard. Especially if you suddenly find yourself on a ship traveling through space.

I’ve been abducted by aliens and auctioned to an alien pirate.

My epic love of movies sort of comes in handy, what with all the sci-fi suddenly in my face. Therefore, I don’t completely lose my mind when my new owner takes me to his ship, where I learn I’m under the control of not one, but five space pirates.

(And it’s not scary at all when I only meet four of them, and everyone warns me away from the mystery fifth alien.)

Luckily, they’re not deterred by the fact that I've come to them carrying a passenger.

I’m pregnant.

Last I saw my ex, he was hell-bent on giving me another beating I wouldn’t forget. But with my new "owners", I’m safe for the first time in a long time - and so is my little girl. Not that everything is all raindrops on roses and innocent kittens: They’re pirates. They’ve got a real addiction to plundering, and a passion for purloining.

I’m pretty fond of the former, but when it comes to the thieving, I’m afraid they’re going to take more than my body.

Piece by piece, all five of my pirates are stealing my heart.

Beth’s Stable is 125K words, and has a happily ever after with hot pirates.

Note: Beth’s Stable is a stand-alone reverse harem romance where five men woo one woman. They’re space pirates, but there are no crossed energy sabers in this story.

The humor and understanding

Other than mispronunciation words, nothing I love the book. I love the characters and the dynamic and most of all I love the way they handle, FMC, & baby

My favorite so far

I loved most of these stories but honestly this one is so much fun and so loving. I absolutely thought Nick Cracknell did an great job and I had no issues with knowing which male was which at the time.

I laughed so much at their antics and the steamy scenes were quite fun as well. I love that Beth's story was lighter and just a great easy way to tie some of the other women's stories together. Highly recommend this one if you have read any of the other books in this series.

Fun reverse harem

Definitely the funniest story of the series. The aliens are zany pirates. The pregnant human, Beth, adjusts to life in space - much loved and recovering from past relationship abuse

keep going

the banter and pranks became juvenile a few times but they are guys, after all. I WOULD RECOMMEND this book to anyone who likes plots and characters that are not filled with angst, arrogance and airheads. It is best apprecoated within the series, though.

Worth the wait

I have been waiting for this book to be on audible for what feels like forever and I was so excited and happy to see it. The book is fantastic. Nick Cracknell did a decent job, but he didn't give the voices much range, so it was difficult to tell them apart. Also, some very common words were mispronounced, and I don't mean because he has an accent. Even still, I'm very happy to be able to listen to this book now.

Fun Reverse Harem

Beth's Stable is one of my favorite reverse harem stories. This series does feature the common trope that human women have been stolen to be sold among unfriendly aliens. But Beth is a fresh new main character. She is heavily pregnant but doesn't wilt when she's afraid, she does whatever she can to help her situation. When she is bought by an alien she fondly thinks of as an Ego Rooster, she's set on a better path than many of them women.

I enjoyed listening to this as an audiobook. The narrator really fleshes out the characters, the humor, and the action.

Yep, get this one.

No need to look further. If you are looking for a wonderfully written book full of romance, hilariously funny roguish and handsome space pirates, well even if you aren’t -this book is for you! This book is packed with great one liners that will draw laughter even from the most hardened person. Unique in its writing and storyline, this is easily one of my top ten out of the 380 audible romance books I have listened to. FANTASTIC narration and I will listen to it several more times! Now time to check if there are more books by this author….
