Billionaire Bad Boys fake bride

I like where the story was going, but it ended abruptly. the bride kept the check Brenda gave her to leave her soon to be husband. Brenda disappeared and the check never mentioned. too many story lines left open in the book.

the narrators work was decent. I had to play around with the speed of my audible app to get it to sound right. her voices between characters was consistent and she does a good job with men's voices

Ruse led to love

This is the first audiobooks by Mia Caldwell that I listened to. The story was well written. The narrator was new to me. At times I thought the narrator had too much expression for parts of the story. Maybe it's just me adjusting to someone new, I'm not certain. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, and/or publisher and/or narrator. The story was sweet, had little steam.

A lovely escaps from real life

Would you consider the audio edition of Billionaire Bad Boy's Fake Bride to be better than the print version?

Don't know I haven't read the print version, but in general I prefer the audio.

What did you like best about this story?

This would NEVER happen in real life so it made for an excellent bit of escapism.

What does Aundrea Mitchell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Andrea's did a great job with the character's voices and the narration overall was good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no, it's short enough that you certainly can, and while it was good, it wasn't quite 'I can't put it down' great.

Any additional comments?

If you like the billionaire falls for a regular girl story then this once certainly delivers. It does all happen super quick in timeline as well as the length of the audiobook which makes you think 'that would never happen in real life' (except maybe in Vegas).

An engagement of convenience

This is a story about how love grew out of an engagement of convenience. It has a Cinderella feel - he is wealthy with concerns about heirs and a demanding parent, she is a working girl with family responsibilities. And like Cinderella, it has the requisite HEA.

The story isn't anything new or even the best in its genre but all the same it is pure romantic escapism. Sometimes that is just what a reader needs.

I Liked This One

I got this ARC from the author via audiobook boom. This was a billionaire story that was well written. I loved the fact that he took on her autistic brother and helped her get him to a safe place. I don't like deceiving people not even for a good cause. It causes others to have to lie as well. This turned out well in the end but I think he could have found a better way to do it. He is smart he could have asked his father to wait until the party and he would show him his finance. But overall the story and narration were done well. There is enough deceit in the world as it is.

Any additional comments?

This was interesting, not great, but not bad either. the narrator was not that good. Would prefer more steamy scenes.

Mediocre at best...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I was provided a free audiobook copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. It would have been nice to have a laugh or two to break up the monotony.

Would you recommend Billionaire Bad Boy's Fake Bride to your friends? Why or why not?

Maybe, if you just want to pass the time this book is okay, but lacked any real heat. This genre isn't as well represented as I would like to see, but Mia Caldwell may grow in her character development in the future. I didn't like or dislike the characters they were boring. The story line was decent but unengaging. The attempts of the villain were anti-climactic. The author made all the characters either good or bad, no shades of gray as most complex characters usually are.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Aundrea Mitchell?

Unlikely, Aundrea Mitchell used the same voice as the narrator, female & male characters.

Could you see Billionaire Bad Boy's Fake Bride being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No, the character development and story line were too simplistic

Great

I thought it was a good storyline. I wish the narrator had a better male voice for Connor. I would definitely recommend it.
