Overview and Nuggets about famous Money Makers

The title is true; the book does list some habits. I was hoping to gain a little more knowledge about each Habit and why a given success or failure changed one of these habits. I would recommend this book to someone who does not know which of these individuals to read about next. This book is a good and quick intro into each individual's background (and some habits). Personally, this book guided me to towards wanting to know more about Ray Dalio.,

Felt More Like a Biography

I love listening to and reading self-development books hoping to pick up some new strategies, tips, tricks, and habits. I was excited to listen to this book as I was curious about some of the billionaires not readily known to me. The narrator did an excellent job and kept me engaged, however; the book felt more like short biographies on the list of billionaires than their habits.

Having the biographies provided was a great insight into how these people achieved what they have, but when we got to the habits; it was just a few minutes for each person. I get that listing just the habits would be a book read in 5 minutes, so the biographies helped to understand the lives of billionaires like Ray Dalio, Jack Ma, and Oprah.

The main themes (or habits) I picked were strict time management in day-to-day activities, aggressive reading, and time spent with family. Getting to the point, like Mukesh Ambani; and asking for exactly what you need and letting that person know that they will have 15 minutes to present has great advantages. The reading habits of Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, and Bill Gates lead us to look further out in our own reading as we should have more breadth in subjects that can influence the depth of our current skillset. And finally, time spent with our families is the most important as we are distancing ourselves from our families with work and need time to disconnect from work and the world and invest our precious time with the people we love most.

For someone looking to improve their knowledge in self-development that is just starting out; this book is definitely one to listen to. It can be taken in one billionaire at a time so that you can listen on commutes to work.
