Publisher's summary

Bishop was looking for a boy of his own, but he didn't expect that boy to be his best friend's little brother.

When Rory's car breaks down on the way to make the most important delivery of his career, he thinks it is the worst thing that could have possibly happened to him. Little did he know it would turn out to be the best.

Lucky for him, his brother's best friend comes to the rescue, and not only is his career saved, but he learns that sometimes what we really need isn't at all what we thought we wanted. Now he just has to convince his big ole bear that he is a grown man and not the kid he remembers from years ago.

If strong men who work hard, play hard, and love even harder are your thing, you won't want to miss the Blue Collar Daddies series.

Contains mature themes.

Excellent Series! Great Book!

I was concerned about the last 2 books in this series because neither the boys or the Daddies were part of the core group like in the first books, even though the boys were introduced. But I absolutely LOVED these stories too. When Rory was introduced I knew it was because the next book would be about him, and it was. If you love Daddy/ Boy books you NEED this series. If you are even somewhat interested in reading about Daddies and their boys, take a chance on this series. I think you'll like it.

I'm looking forward to reading more by this author. The books in this series are short but surprisingly I like the length. That means there's not the contrived fluff some other (still really good) books have. Also, there has to be some angst/ stress in a story, but with these relatively short books, that means the angst is low and quick. I really like that. I thought I might have to stop reading in this genre because my last several books had so much stress and it took so long that it was affecting my mood negatively. But this series was exactly what I needed. Thank you.

As for the narrator, 😙 perfect! I can't imagine the voices of these characters with anyone else reading them. This was the first time I've had the pleasure of hearing from this narrator, and I'll be actively searching for more by him.

One more thing, this series is light but informative. The author has taken the time to explain some points of this dynamic to new boys and shown different types of boys and daddies. No basic cookie cutter dynamics from book to book. I've read enough Daddy/ Boy books that none of it was brand new to me, but it was nice that it was explained to the boys who were brand new.
