About this listen

Madeline Black is an Agent of Death, meaning she escorts the souls of people who have died to the afterlife. Of course, not everyone is happy to see her... If obstinate dead people were all that Maddy had to worry about, life would be much easier. But the best-laid plans of Agents and fallen angels often go awry. Deaths are occurring contrary to the natural order, Maddy's being stalked by foes inside and outside of her family, and her two loves---her bodyguard, Gabriel, and her doughnut-loving gargoyle, Beezle---have disappeared. But because Maddy is Lucifer's granddaughter, things are expected of her, things like delicate diplomatic missions to other realms.

A Great Series

This is only the second book in the series, and it proves that the first was no fluke. I can't wait to read Black Howl in February, and I hope the series continues in an audio format.

Love this Series! But there are more than 2 books!

Well this is a fantastic series. I love the intricacy of the storyline and the idea that Grim Reaper is live among us. The fact that the main character is the granddaughter many times removed of Lucifer just makes it even more bizarrely intriguing. But I want the other books in the series made into audibles.

I drive for a living, so listening to audiobooks is my relaxation in between having passengers. I can listen to book one and two of the series, but the other books I have to sit down and read. I don’t have as much time to read as I used to. Please make these into audio books for all the fans of the series!?!

entertainment abounds

I have now listened to the two books released in this series. The Author keeps blending the characters in and out of the story. There is something about Angels,Demon's and Magic that just help the story stay fresh. I hope a third addition is on the way to Audible.

Entertaining

What made the experience of listening to Black Night the most enjoyable?

The story-line for this book was extremely entertaining.

What did you like best about this story?

The story line was excellent but left too many un-answered questions. I hope she is writing a book 3 for this series so there is at least closure to all the questions still looming in ones head.

What about Coleen Marlo’s performance did you like?

She sounded more up-beat and not so monotone as she did in the first.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely.. but again, as with Book 1, the length of the book did not allow it.

Any additional comments?

I still love Beezel, the garoyle the most.
