This game doesn't get any easier.
Torn from those he cares for most, Lucas must push past his boundaries to get them back.
From subterranean tunnels to vast forests, the challenges are varied and endless. Lucas and his budding harem will have to work together to outwit ancient puzzles, defeat outrageous monsters, and make new allies.
Along the way, they'll uncover new information about this mad gods' game.

Our peaceful professor may have some anger issues coming out and is taking it out on the bad guys.
It would be great if the warthog played a bigger role in the story. He's an awesome sub-character.
This book is for those that just want a light and fun harem read.
2nd book is better than the 1st one.

Just as good as book 1

What I liked about part one is that it incorporated Mesoamerican mythology as the basis. In the sequel Roland added elements of Middle eastern and Pre-Spanish Philippine Mythology.
The Negative.
It's almost as fun as the first book, however one of my beliefs is that there is a time and place for everything. There are some pacing issues in this book, and the middle of a dangerous area is no place to reflect upon your relations or to Physically flirt, while you could be attacked at anytime.
More unique fun

The characters have a somewhat shallow relationship lacking those you expect from true lovers. But then again, that is how several anime’s tend to be anyway. So I might be extra picky here.
It is still a fun and pretty relaxing read. And I think Erin Bateman did a great job with the characters.
Feels like an easy anime
