About this listen

Since the night of her brutal attack and unwilling transformation into a vampire, Merit has stood as Sentinel and protector of Chicago's Cadogan House. She's saved the Windy City from the forces of darkness time and again with her liege and lover, Ethan Sullivan, by her side.

When the House is infiltrated and Merit is attacked by a vampire who seems to be under the sway of dark magic, Merit and Ethan realize the danger is closer than they could have imagined. As malign sorcery spreads throughout the city, Merit must go to war against supernatural powers beyond her comprehension. It is her last chance to save everything - and everyone - she loves.

This was one of the best books I have listened to anxiously waiting for the new series. Thanks for an exciting ride with the Chicagoland vampires and all within the series.

Blade Bound was a great story with a good mix of magic, vampires, drama, undead life, fighting, and intimate scenes. From a marriage to a battle with a mythical creature the audience is guaranteed an interesting and captivating story. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

I normally don’t listen to entire series because I lose interest about the second bookie so. Chloe Neill got me, her style of writing along with the narrator kept listening until the bitter end. Now I am afraid I am in a bookhole(showhole). Forever a fan

I am sad that the series is over!
This was a great way to end it though, with hope of a spin off and now that I know there is one I am all over that.
The wedding was everything I am so glad it was included.

Ethan and Merit and Mallory and Catcher save Chicago from a giant lizard that was made from magic. I have to say Gabriel is never wrong never bet against prophecy.

My favorite part was the bridge and the trust Mallory has in Merit well it was heartwarming you can see their friendship wasn’t damage from the past.

I do wish we got like a whole chapter of Ethan as a father that would have been so interesting.

The END! <3

Very good. Interesting plot. I love the wedding. All my favourite characters are there. The plot is fantastic and I like the part of the bonding with the dragon. Throughout the story Ethan's and Merrit's love shows through. Very romantic! I like that they have a baby and the epilogue of the offsprings of the important characters appear, I hope that Chloe Neill is hinting that there will be a new series coming up soon! Thank you for a great series Chloe Neill and to Sophie Eastlake for a good reform acne.

EXCELLENT ENDING OF A GREAT SERIES

Every book in this series is a pure gem and this one does not disappoint. I'm sad this series is over, but it goes out on a very high note. All of the major plotlines that were threaded throughout this series are neatly tied up and it does not feel forced or cheap. This is how to end a great series.

A bittersweet ending to a great series
