What made the experience of listening to Blue Dragon the most enjoyable?
I was already listening to another audiobook on my iPod and thought I would listen to this online at work. I got so sucked into the story, I had to stop listening to that other book so I could finish this one. What other book might you compare Blue Dragon to and why?
I'm a huge fan of the Dragonriders of Pern series, and the link between the dragons in Blue Dragon was a little reminiscent of it. The Blue Dragons have more flaws though, and there's a lot of internal conflict between the races. And the humans.Which character – as performed by Tren Sparks – was your favorite?
Dharanidhar really grew on me. I loved the way Sparks did the internal (mental) dialogue. He did a great job with letting me differentiate who was speaking by his characterization. I would so listen to other books narrated by him.Any additional comments?
I hope Sparks is going to do the other books in the series. This story totally sucked me in!

He made the characters really come to life. It pulled us in to the story and made us feel like we were part of the book. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, We were in the car listening to the book and we didn't want to turn it off when we arrived at our location. We loved this book.Any additional comments?
Excellent Book! It far exceeded my hopes and truly drew me into the story. There are major players in this book both human and dragons. The author did a fantastic job with this book and we love this series. Look for this book on Audible as it is fantastically portrayed. The author and book reader really made this story come to life. My family truly recommends this book to read and listen to on Audible.Excellent Dragon Book

Where does Blue Dragon rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would put this book up with the same as the David Gemmell books, and even more so with the Discworld onesWhat was one of the most memorable moments of Blue Dragon?
For me it was a part later in the book, where Kanvar refuses to wear a certain robe, captures the underlying tone wonderfullyWhich character – as performed by Tren Sparks – was your favorite?
Kanvar, he really brought the character's personality and motives to the readingIf you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Blue DragonAny additional comments?
I was surprised when I was first told of this book Blue Dragon: Dragonbound, and I am ashamed to admit I hadn’t even heard of Rebecca Shelley. My surprise came when I took the time for it and found it to be a very enjoyable tome.I can see this book is aimed at the young adult age, as it goes through so many of the troubles from that age, and the way disability is handled in the story I thought was impressive, Bravo to Rebecca this book seems a very strong read for the younger reader.
I will admit I listened to the Audible book version where a Mr Tren Sparks did a sublime job of the reading (personally I love the Telepathic affect) Mr Sparks brings a deep rich tone to the tale, and coupled with his soothing tones fits the book perfectly.
I will be looking forward to the next in the audible series, and already planning to order my nephews a complete collection of Shelley’s books.
Pleasantly Surprised, very good book

I usually raise my eyebrow at dragon-rider stories, because there's such a power imbalance (dragons are so much more powerful than humans), I need a reason to believe they have mutual respect for each other. This story gave a good reason. Their friendship rang true. The world-building was great, there was lots of action and adventure, and this was just a fun story.
Unusual, twisty plot that's really fun to read
