About this listen

Hadley says she hates her brother.
But I know the truth.
She hates that she loves him.
Because it’s hard to love an addict.
Honestly, I don’t even love myself most days.
But I can see her falling for me.

She doesn't know her brother and I are cut from the same cloth, though.
She doesn’t know I’ve already lost everything because of my addiction.
She doesn’t know that’s why I push her away.
Why I refuse to claim her, the same way I refuse to reclaim my role as front man for my band.

But she’s testing my limits.
I’m not sure how much longer I can withstand Hadley before I fall for her and ruin us both.
When I do, she’ll never forgive me.
And neither will I.

Great story but narration is a STRUGGLE

I’ve never debated returning an audiobook before, but “Hadley’s” narration is so stilted and flat, it’s almost unbearable to get through. Thankfully Fender has his parts to give us breaks.

A Favorite Listen

I have had a soft side for Fender since the beginning of this series... His story is one of my favorites.

This story will break your heart in so many ways, but put it back together. You will feel for these characters as if they are real.

Hadley and Fender are perfect for each other. He is a little broken, and she is the only one who can help him put himself back together.
Hadley hasn't had the easiest life. She has battled her own sort of demons in her life. But she finds something in Fender that she hasn't in anyone else.

Broken Instrument is a great title to this book and so worth the read or listen. I devoured this book. And I am so happy Fender got his HEA!

Good

I liked this book. However if I had to rate the series this is probably my least favorite out of them. I’m really glad it tied up lose ins from the previous book and loved that Finn got his happy ending but I guess I wasn’t really hooked as much since I felt like I already knew what had happened if that makes sense.
