so so

The book had a good storyline but would have been alot better with a different narrator

Love this series!

I love this series and I’m excited to see where it goes next. I wish the rest of the series was in audiobook format! I love audiobooks when I’m not feeling good and it is disappointing when half the series isn’t in audiobooks.
I love the characterd & settings in this series. Love Merry the Cats role too.

Enjoyable series

This series has been a light, fun and easy to listen to cozy mystery. Characters are likeable and storyline is interesting.

So much better than the first two books

The story was better flushed out and the killer made more sense with a better reason for the murder.

A bit annoying!

I was enjoying this light read series, but I feel it's gone way downhill, The main character, Brighton Longfield, a divorced woman, acts like a child. She;s never grown up or seems to learn any lessons her life has given to her. She is constantly making the wrong decisions and is her worst enemy because of it.. She creates a lot of her own problems. She is terrible with men. And her conversational style is extremely immature. I mentioned this in a previous review, most of a normal person's brain synapses connect in a straight line. Not Brightons! Her brain connections are more like a jar of squiggly worms.

It's almost like the author, Sara Bourgeois, is giving up on this Wicked Witches of Coventry series, Weird, unimaginative story lines. It's like the author is just throwing out stuff out there to see if it sticks. The more silly and chaotic, the better. Because of this, I sadly don't feel I will waste my time reading any of Sara's future series. I will, however, finish this series since the books are so short and I'm near the end. I hope I don't regret this decision and feel afterwards that, that's several hours of my life I'll never get back! I rarely write any bad reviews, but this series is ending up to be frustrating. The author could have done so much better!
