Story
Feeling stressed? Today, more people are feeling anxious, depressed, and distressed about life. I felt completely the same way. My job was a nightmare; I was struggling mentally with the day to day. I felt tired, exhausted, and I wanted more in life. I heard and learned about meditation, but the concepts went over my head. The techniques were too unconventional for me, and none of these books gave any practical advice. Then I discovered the amazing world of practical meditation. With this book, you will get actionable instructions on how to make meditation apart of your life.

It’s not easy to answer the question “What do Buddhists believe?” because Buddhism is actually a family of religions that have developed and evolved in different parts of the world, across different historical periods. Most of all, Buddhism is simply focused on living a meaningful life that is marked by kindness toward yourself and others. It’s about the process of figuring out what actually works in order to achieve these things.

Many of you may be asking, "What the heck is mindfulness in the first place." I know that was my initial reaction when I first introduced to the concept a few years back. Well, this isn't some new idea. The concept of mindfulness has been around for over a thousand years. Being mindful means living in each moment and experiencing it fully. It teaches you how to become fully aware of yourself and your surroundings, while also improving focus and attentiveness.

Story
Many spiritual-related matters have been narrated and studied with authenticity. They continue to inspire many people, and the gemstones in them continue to guide many facets of their lives. Sometimes we are not teachers, but we can be more than that or remain to be the same. As we navigate through life, we wish always to learn to meditate. We could resort to seeking meditation teachers, but in most of cases, that is not feasible. In essence, this book draws some tidbits and shrewd sentiments from those who vigorously exerted themselves to meditation, including Buddhists.

EXCELLENT!
Lots of information. Loved the question and answer format. Buddhism is a nice way. There are stool questions I have, and in not sure if it was because the explanations were sometimes unclear or if I just lack the experience.

lt was good exposure for me, but I think I need to read a beginner's book to learn the concepts discussed in detail in this book. I just finished but intend to repeat it. The Q and A format make it easy to go back to refresh understanding.

I really enjoyed this book
The narrator has a beautiful tone and a great tempo. The book has many basic theories and principles of Buddhism that I will definitely be revisiting at a later date, this is a book you can read multiple times and even use as a reference. I did not have the basic knowledge to truly appreciate the questions asked and answered.
