Publisher's summary

Volt is my best friend. And nothing but my best friend. Natalie and Sara keep telling me there's something more going on beneath the surface, but that's not true. Volt is a manwhore. A player. And a heartbreaker. We're better off as friends. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Gushhh

I would normally be tired of the push and pull of one relationship for this many books in a series but guys... I AM NOT! I am so obsessed with Volt and Taylor. I don't want to ruin the plot but let's just say I spent most of this book happy. I love the best friend to lovers trope and this is exactly why. You end up feeling such a strong connection to both characters and love them as friends that when they get together... it makes you feel like you witnessed the relationship in real life.

I can't wait to start the next book, I may not even sleep tonight so I can plow through it because once again we are left with an epic cliffhanger that I just have to resolve NOW!

Lia Langola is literally the perfect person for this job. She took Taylor's character and nailed it. Taylor is a very level headed and reasonable person, even in situations she shouldn't be but Lia made me believe her personality can exist. Ha!

Michael Ferraiholo did a pretty good job. I wish his voice had that arrogance to it that I can imagine this playboy character that is Volt. It definitely doesn't bother me and it doesn't take away from the story, but I can imagine Volt having this air of confidence that I didn't quite get from Michael's portrayal.

The entire series is more than credit worthy!

love this series

this is a great series. I am just starting to get frustrated with these two. I just want volt and Taylor to live happily ever after. why and how can they be so dumb and not get their stuff together? but i still love this series, I can see these conflicts coming and I can't wait for things to explode. I would recommend this series to everyone, but a warning, you will get sucked in.

Burn

What was one of the most memorable moments of Burn?

This is the third in this series and is as good or maybe better than the second. Story moved forward and ended up being a good story. Ready to move on to the next audiobook.

A romantic friends to lovers story

These books must be read in order. This time Taylor struggles with her true feeling about Volt. Her friends keep insisting that she is falling for Volt. But Taylor knows what he is. Or does she. In Burn, Taylor struggles with her own emotions as she watches Volt be more than just a manwhore. As a reader, we know they are in love with each other, but Taylor and Volt are too hurt from past experiences or too stubborn to admit it. I really enjoyed the softer side of Volt and hope it would continue. I got completely wrapped up in this story. I like the fact that it is taking them awhile to realize their true feelings.

Lia Langola and Michael Ferraiuolo are consistently the best narrating team for this series. I really like the consistency of the narration. It helps the stories flow together. If you listen to them one after the other, it is an extremely smooth transition. Both Lia and Michael never falter in keeping the character's voices consistent. Their voices compliment each other and flow smoothly together. I am jumping right into the last book of the series.

Volt! you idiot!

Lia and Michael narration is perfect as usual! As for Volt, I just want to punch him where it hurts. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher

Burn

Now that Taylor and Volt are together everything is great. Until a another teacher hits on Taylor and kisses her with Volt seeing. Is Volt gonna do the same thing he did to his ex? Or will this be the end of them? Great read.
