Lovely and Haunting

At first I thought, this is the saddest story I have ever read. But the progression of life in all its glory and messiness started to shine through. Liam is right. Sometimes there are not clear cut rules for life. Well done. Just read it. I do not want to give anything away. You will not be sorry.

Good thriller.

May not be the most original of stories but it was very well written and had a good pace. Had action, suspense and danger. Again, it was well written so I could easily visualize the characters and the forest setting.

A captivating Listen.

What starts out as a nice family vacation on Butterfly lake soon turns into a nightmare when 14 year old Lori is kidnapped while chasing butterflies. Her parents alert the authorities but it's her father, Tex and his army buddy Rob who find and rescue her. The book is face paced and enjoyable.

Assam audiobook!

I like that this book comes to action straight away; less unnecessary conversations, and more drama and action. The description of the lake, its vicinity, the setup, is apt. The evil brothers, the detectives, the parents - all characters came to light as the story progresses. The tension builds up straight from the beginning, and you will get gripped with the book as you proceed. Overall, Listen well and with good effort.

Butterfly lake

This is a feel good mystery action book. I like how Rob and Rex worked together as friends. But I really liked how the cops helped them search for his daughter and worked with them instead of trying to find the girl themselves for the credit. This is a short story but a lot happens in it. Around five hours. Tom Lennon did a good job narrating this book.

I loved this sweet Story!

I loved this sweet novel. It stirred the memories of my mother’s love of where she was raised, the home she carried in her heart. The title was so appropriate but the full impact is not shared until near the end. Well written, it held my interest throughout. I loved the characters, and how the author brought them to life and let me feel both their joy and sadness. That is a real talent.
