About this listen

Will Lee, the courageous and uncompromising senator from Georgia, is back - now as president of the United States - in this fifth book of the New York Times best-selling series that began with Chiefs.

When a prominent conservative politician is killed inside his lakeside cabin, authorities have no suspect in sight. And two more seemingly different deaths might be linked to the same murderer. From a quiet DC suburb to the corridors of power to a deserted island hideaway in Maine, Will; his CIA director wife, Kate; and the FBI will track their man, set a trap - and await the most dangerous kind of quarry: a killer with a cause to die for....

The story was interesting and kept my attention. The only downside was the voice of the narrator. I have read the earlier novels of Mr. Lee and his voice was strong and dynamic. The voice in this novel was not similar in anyway, and was somewhat distracting.

Good read.

I wish one of the four libraries I have cards for had had this as an ebook, but at least the reading of the book by the narrator was good.
This is the first, and will probably be the last Audible book I ever listen to. I only did it because I wanted to "read" the Will Lee series of books by Stuart Woods in order, as each is a continuation of the previous one.
Now, all I have to do is figure out how to cancel my Audible subscription.

A great book again by Stuart Woods

Good Read.

Awesome Book.

I've listened to all the books in this series and have enjoyed the story line. Nothing against Mr Hoye, but his voice did not fit the series. Rather than Will Lee as a southern politician I felt Mr Hoye should be reading about the Kennedy's as his voice has an uppity snobbish tone to it.

Good story but did not enjoy the reader
