About this listen

I don’t need a pack. I’m doing just fine on my own.

Until one tiny mistake has me perfuming enough to draw every enforcement officer in a ten-block radius.

I know what awaits me if I go into custody as an unclaimed Omega, so when a blazing hot and surprisingly kind Alpha throws me a life raft, I grab hold with both hands.

Only problem? He didn’t exactly clear his claim on me with his pack. They don’t want an Omega—especially Thane, who seems to be calling the shots.

At least they’re letting me stay until they find another pack to take me. I should be grateful, but being trapped in a mansion with four unbonded Alphas that smell like heaven is pure torture.

Fox, Miles, Levi, and Thane are everything an Omega could ever want, but there’s a reason I was in hiding.

I have to remember… I’m Knot Their Omega.

Captivate is a standalone Omegaverse romance told from multiple points of view. It includes MM and MMFMM, and a happily ever after is guaranteed.

Loved the creativity

The author had a creative writing style that kept me interested and laughing. I enjoyed the narrators.

clinical narrators

The narrators (the guy especially) are so clinical, at times I thought they were ai. the story gets lost listening. idk if it was what they were directed to do or their choices but they didn't distinguish between voices well. it was like listening to someone read a car manual

Not sure for the title name?

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶.5

I am a sucker for omegaverse romance, and I love when it's outside your normal kind of OV. Not only did this have an omega being rescued on the streets. It had an pack Alpha that didn't want her, and then threw in an omega that was sick of a disease that would kill her.

This has all the great makings for such a great and different OV, it was just missing the mark for me. Was there spice? Yes, but not to spicy like most OV, and there was MM in it. I just didn't feel the connection between all of the pack and the omega, Riley. She had a special bond with two of them, but I felt it was lacking between the other two. Besides that, it was a good story and went by pretty fast.

Tropes:
- Omegaverse
- Why Choose (MMFMM)
- Omega Hiding as Beta
- Doctor Pack Alpha
- Football Player Alpha
- Computer Nerd Alpha
- College Student Alpha (Masters Degree)
- Sick Omega
- Alpha Saves Omega from Police
- Found Family
- Forced Proximity
- Knots/Heat/Nest

The narrators did a good job. I do feel like they could have acted not so sterile in certain moments. More in the moment.

Okay

I appreciate that the conflict of the story was different from your typical omegaverse. I might have enjoyed it more with different narrators. The female had hints of valley girl, and the male didn't really differentiate between the male characters. He just made some more breathy and drew his words out longer. It drove me a little nuts.

Loved this story, narrators did a good job

*** Audiobook Review from September 2023 ***
I thought the narrators did a good job with this omegaverse. I wasn’t a fan of the male narrator for all the different guys, but he did a fabulous job with Thane. I just felt like he made Levi sound so different than I had imagined. I thought the female narrator did a good job with the male voices as well. I liked how she did everyone but Thane hahaha. She made Thane feel like a robot. I have listened to her before and she does a good job, she isn’t one of my favorites but I don’t have an issue with hating any of her performances either, so consistently good. I thought the best scene was when the reveal happened, when things got dicey, how emotional all the different characters got (the main harem and then the side characters too). Seeing her stand up to Thane’s parents was amazing. I would give the audio 4/5 stars ❤️

*** Ebook Review from January 2023 ***
This was the first omegaverse by this author (this is her new pen name) and she does a fabulous job with this omegaverse romance. I can be pretty picky when it comes to OV because there are certain things I like seeing/mentioning/not passed over and if the author shortens that part that is essential for omegaverses I get taken out by the story (like first bonding/bites, or first time they do the deed for example). This author did everything so well while still keeping it a reasonably sized standalone story, I was so happy with it and will definitely be reading book 2 when it comes out this spring.

I had a tough time picking my favorite of the alphas, but I think Miles won me over (I am an engineering nerd in real life and love books so I gravitated toward him the most) but I absolutely loved all the guys and wished they were real. The storyline line was refreshing and the plot was super well paced. The steam was done so well, it wasn't overpowering but we get enough to keep the heat up hahaha. I enjoyed the back story and profession of our adorable but strong omega. I think there were moments, which is the reason we get all the tension and angst, where it could have been resolved or mentioned before it all blew up, and it wasn't an overcomplicated issue and resolution but it didnt take away from the execution by the author. I am gonna remember this one like I do some of my fav OV romances (Kathryn Moon will always be my #1) because of the relationships she built. How the guys were there for each other even if they didnt want it. The family unit was beautiful and the M/M scenes were 🔥🔥🔥 I just wanted more and more hahaha.

I thought the additional characters were done really well too. Like Thane's parents who thank goodness had a dose of reality or I would have put my hand through my kindle to smack their silliness away haha. I loved Riley's bff, she was adorable and how she grilled the guys. I thought the bad cop was done really well to show us how Alphas see Omegas and their lack of rights in this world. I do wish the whole parent thing was confronted after she had her attack. The nurse made it a point and the guys reacted to protect her and then nothing else came of it. I don't know, seemed like a little loose end that wasn't resolved. But if that is the only thing I can critique, it was a job well done!!

5/5 stars cannot wait for Hypnotize in April, this helped me get out of funk with some tough personal stuff I am dealing with, so if you are looking for a happy story, definitely pick this one up. You will probably read it in one sitting like I saw a lot of people mention haha. I made sure to break it up so I could enjoy it more ❤️

Loved the book

I adore this book and series. However, the narrators just weren’t my cup of tea.

This may be the worst thing I’ve listened to

I tried my hardest to listen through this whole book cause I paid for it and couldn’t return it. It was a huge waste of time. The story was awful. I think the narrators could have done a decent job, had they had something to work with but it was so so bad. Choppy, monotone, whiny, and overly dramatic all at once. The story was just down right painful. I’m so damn disappointed that I wasted not only my time, but money on this garbage.
