This is a real short one but im hopeful more will come! i have waited forever for another to be released on audible. I have read every book out and this is not my fav. and is a add on from another book not on audible. no back story so seems it is just sex. come on so many amazing books and this one is put on audible. Did not like female narrator all other books are MacKenzie Cartwright. I also prefer Lance!

This author has a couple of frisky novellas that combine danger and cats,
but in a fun, light hearted way (Hitman’s Prey and Snow Angel).

This novella is not fun at all.
Instead, this is Dark Romance, where they revel in being part of the criminal underworld.
I’m not sure this should even be called romance.
This is just thug sex interspersed with thug violence.
The HEA is them reigning as mafia King and Queen and glorying in killing a man.
Oh, and there’s a two second random plot about adopting a kitten.
Hard pass on all of it and the clunky narration.
