Publisher's summary

From USA Today best-selling author Willow Winters comes a seductive and emotionally captivating second-chance romance.

It’s impossible to get over what we had.

He was everything - irresistibly handsome, ruthlessly elite, and seemingly untouchable - while I was nothing.

Yet he protected me when I was at my lowest; more than that, he wanted me.

He devoured me...and I did the same to him.

Until it all fell apart and I ran as far away from Madox as I could. After all, the two of us were never meant to be together.

I never thought I’d see him again, years later. Let alone be under him in the way I’ve craved since we said good-bye.

The attraction between us still burns like fire, but time can’t change the past. And I don’t know if it’s possible for us to mend all of our broken pieces.

Which Card Will Remain

This story is full of heartache, loneliness, and miscommunication. The parties also have a healthy dose of lust for each other. You can hear and feel all the emotions through the narrators.

2nd Chance

First of all, the narrators were awesome and brought both characters Maddox and Sophie to life. I don’t usually like novellas because I don’t really have time to get to know the characters, but for some reason this one felt like a complete book. I love second chance romance, but I also get aggravated with the fact that the girl always seems to run away from her problems. It’s always the girl running away. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Good communication would have solved a lot of problems in this book, but thankfully it was only three years that was wasted and not 10 or 20.

This is not one of my favorite books by Willow, but I still like it very much.

Second Chance Romance Beautiful and Heartbreaking

I love this second chance romance, and all the indications of the cards of the tarot in the beginning of each chapter wonderfully made.
One of the favorites of the year ❤️
I want to buy the physical copy of this book 💕

Steven Dexter read ...

pure emotion in his part. A very enjoyable listen with both narrators.
A good short story. I wonder how much better it would have been if all the characters had been developed more.
