About this listen

The Librarian has a race to win, a message to send, and he’s surrounded by clowns.

Television is back and the Omega Run is the biggest show in the wasteland. Contestants from all over travel to The Cleave to compete for a chance at stardom in what is billed as the Last Race You’ll Ever Run.

The Librarian and his friends are looking to send a message, and Cleave TV's reach is unmatched. All he has to do is win a race through what’s left of Cleveland where he’ll encounter the dreaded war bison, brutal ballerinas, post-apocalyptic hockey players, a circus full of killers and more.

But he’s not the only Librarian in the game. Thomas Caine and his Remnant allies are interested in doing a broadcast of their own.

It’s simple. Two Librarians enter. Only one can win.

The Duck and Cover Adventures continue in book six, Champion of the Apocalypse.

It’s the end of the world as you’ve never known it in this laugh-out-loud look at the apocalypse that readers are calling “Mad Max meets Monty Python” and “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Wasteland.

Been waiting a long time!

Love the series! I follow Benjamin Wallace where ever he leads me. Phil is one of the best voices out there. I was so glad when the audio book dropped. I would love for the journey to continue!

Legendary Author, Legendary Narrator

When I’m not at the edge of my seat I’m laughing off of it!
Between Benjamin’s out of the world story telling, their comedy is unparalleled.

With 10 years of listening to Phil Thron, I’m constantly & consistently entertaining beyond anyone other!

So funny!

Great story, great characters, unbelievably original and funny. The entire series is amazing, and Thron is the best comedic narrator in the business.

Awesome

Anything from Mr Wallace is solid gold adding in Mr Thron is just unnecessary diamond crusted decadence

Wallace and Thron do it again

Going into this book I had never been anything less than tickled pink by the comedic styling of Benjamin Wallace being delivered by the master of delivery and timing Phil Thron... and I'm happy to report that nothing has changed. I came, I listened, I giggled, I laughed out loud at inappropriate times where there were other people around to give me odd looks. 36 out of 7 potato wedges, would eat here again.

ita truly great

just the writing and the way the story flowed, it's almost like a unicorn orgasim filled with endorphins that make your brain happy. it's possibly the best end of the world/begging of a new age book I've ever hear... also the only one... but whatever potato patato

Needs Marsden

After waiting for too long, this chapter of the Librarian left me disappointed. The narrator needs work on voices. The writing unfortunately feels rushed perhaps by publisher pressure. While still a good read, far from the imagination anticipation s÷needed by all previous Librarian stories as fed through the narration of James Mars den. Now I guess I'll seek cerebral satisfaction from JUNKERS II!
