I generally shy away from romance books about teens or young adults, but this was well done. I appreciated the appropriateness of the story, and enjoyed Nicole and Chase. The narrator brought a teen girl to life and really made it believable!

Chasing Love by Kayla Tirrell was a very good read. This was a good read that followed high schooler's. Nicole is someone who can't wait to get out of her hometown. She meets Chase at her job and he steers her towards going to try out for Cross Country. I really enjoyed reading their story.

Chasing Love is a super sweet YA romance set in the 2000’s. Back when Blockbuster was still a thing and as a teenager you had your own phone line instead of a cell phone. I would recommend this to any teen who is looking for a good romance book!

Kaye Anderson was a perfect fit for these teen characters!

This book is part of Mountain Creek Drive series. So if you listened to the other ones it gives you an image of what to expect. The story is quite enjoyable and interesting. Love, life, guys, romance, a little bit of everything.. The book is quite long for ones that I usually listen so you will have enough time to enjoy. The narrator really has a pleasant voice. I liked the tempo, colour and intonations. Really a god job.

I didn't know what to expect when I first started this book and was pleasantly surprised during the whole story. Nicole is a high school senior trying to find her place and get herself into college. Chase is the cool guy who graduated the year before and ends up noticing Nicole for the first time. Their story was a fun, sweet, and enjoyable listen. The narrated also did a great job conveying Nicole's personality as well as the other characters in the story.

I really enjoyed this story! The author presents a cute, fun yet compelling story in which the protagonist makes mistakes and learns from them, giving a wholesome message without coming across as prudish. Highly recommend!!

This is a sweet YA romance set in the late 90s with lots of 90s movie references you'll love. Nicole is headed for her senior year and she's a total wallflower, as a matter of fact she's Never Been Kissed! Nicole thinks she's Clueless, but in reality She's All That. She's smart and driven, sweet as American Pie. When hottie Chase Saunders pushes her into trying out for her high school cross country team, Nicole can't tell if he's serious or if he has Cruel Intentions. But as she trains for cross country and hones her Craft, she Can't Hardly Wait to see if she and Chase will become more than friends, or if she'll end up with the Varsity Blues.

This is the third book in the Mountain Creek Drive series, but you don't need to read the others to enjoy this one. I loved this sweet YA romance, it made me nostalgic for my own high school days before cell phones and social media, when hanging out and watching movies with friends was the highlight of the weekend. It almost made me wish I was back in high school! I really liked both main characters. Chase was a sweetie, and I loved how he pulled Nicole out of her shell and brought out her spunky side. Nicole's friendship with Amy was written well and they were both likable. I didn't want to stop listening! I'd definitely recommend this one for teens on up.

The narration was perfect for the story, Kaye Anderson had a young voice that fit Nicole perfectly. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

This author was new to me. The author had me having some trips down memory lane. The good crushing on a guy forever and then he notices you. OMG. Finding your first everything is amazing. The narrator had me chuckling in spots. I must go back and get the other two books in this series.
