About this listen

She's the other sister....

Overshadowed by the beauty of her older sister, Lillian is better known as the other Tisdale: unremarkable and unsure how she will ever deliver on the promise of her family's name.

He's a rake in need of reforming....

Will Colton leads a frivolous existence, embracing notoriety instead of managing his family's fortune. Determined to forget his financial burden and his father's growing resentment, he maintains a lifestyle dedicated to pleasure and self-indulgence. When Will is invited to the Tisdale estate for an extended holiday, he never expects to become friends with the forgettable Lillian.

But when a family secret comes to light, he must choose between leaving London and protecting the honor of one woman or staying and risking the reputation of another. Upon his return, Will finds the girl he left behind has come out of the shadows and into her own. Lillian's finally the center of attention, and not all of it good. With his own reputation in tatters, can a reformed rake lure her out of the hands of London's bachelors and back into his own arms? Can he escape his past and reclaim her heart, or has he lost her forever?

Contains mature themes.

The ending could have been more climactic, but other than that this was a sweet story. My favorite of the series.

Just the right amount of angsty longing

I don’t understand why this isn’t book one. I enjoyed every minute of each book. Strong leading ladies.

Wonderful Series

Did I miss the proposal? Suddenly they were getting married and all the loose ends are wrapped up in few minutes. Good story, but bad abrupt ending.

wait. what?

Why why why for the first 4 chapters my brain kept saying isn't he dead but he's dead, Ithought he was dead. I understand flash backs but this story should have been first book. It should have been the first because it was also the best.

Sisters

It's my opinion Audible does not list this series of stories in the proper order. The last story really should be the first in the series. A man that was dead in the first story is suddenly alive in the last story (where he dies!)... The mix up is very jarring... Sisters that were married in the first novel are much younger and not married in the last story... Nevertheless I highly recommend this series. Each story held my interest throughout with interesting storylines. I recommend reading the last story first (which is best one) and then in order from there...very good/excellent narration.

The Last Story Is The Best

The author JJ books R always engaging, great character development, a interesting twist and unsuspecting laugh out loud humor.
All 3 books hav been favorites and I will miss not having more to enjoy!

Never, ever dull

I just finished book 3 and was disappointed to discover that was the last one in the series. They’re that good.

Great series!

little h/h interaction and then story wraps up in the last 10 minutes. Not well developed.

no chemistry and very rushed

I only made it to chapter 7. The hero is a pathetic free loading rake. The heroine is fat with spots on her face and begging the hero for kisses.

Not Good

The storyline was just ok. I really felt it didn't do the series justice. There wasn't a balance. Too msny threads opened and brushed aside ot rushed through, Thomas being most important, as apposed to sime areas that were too drawn out with lots of unnecessary clutter details. Most distressing was the drastic change in the FMC, Lily. While the MMC, Will, evolved into a magnificent man, Lilly became an arrogant selfish shrew. I was shocked by her actions toward Will. She didn't have to like him I get that but this 180 degree turn to be cruel and kick a man while he was down and then the author justified it. No, the love story lost it's momentum once Will returns and Lilly became unlikable.

ok but not Book 1 & 2 quality
