About this listen

Life isn't easy when you're single, pushing 50, and still haunted by the ghosts of your rock 'n' roll past - but if anyone can find the funny in it, Bobbie can.

The second book by Sunset Strip video vixen Bobbie Brown, Cherry on Top documents Brown's transformation from 1990s sex symbol to comedy queen, revealing the dramatic ups and downs of her biggest reinvention yet.

Once the hottest girl on the Sunset Strip, the blonde beauty in the video to Warrant's 1990s hit "Cherry Pie" is now in her late 40s, and she's letting her mouth run wild as a headliner on the comedy stage just a few doors down from the rock clubs she once frequented. She's still smoking hot, but telling jokes about farting on men's balls isn't helping her find The One....

Hilarious, sweet, and bitingly honest, Cherry on Top reveals how one gorgeous, potty-mouthed blonde took back Hollywood in middle age, and embarked on a fresh search for love - one fart joke at a time.

Very similar to her last book in parts. Still different enough to also get this one.

Ok, a little all over the place

Take this book for what it is, a bunch of funny anecdotes, but the common thread through it didn’t gel for me. I get it’s her life and just her day to day but it felt like one of those money grabs from a publisher just capitalizing on someone’s quirky albeit sometimes cringy stories but not synched up enough to actually care as the reader. It was free, it was an easy listen; so go for it.

Love Love Love Bobbie Brown!

I first listened to Dirty Rocker Boys and loved it so much, upon finishing I instantly downloaded Cherry on Top. I will definitely listen to both again! Bobbie reads both which is literally the Cherry on Top!! Bobbie hilariously gives us a look into her life…all of it…the good, the bad and the ugly….honestly and truthfully….and shows she is only human…just like the rest of us….!! Please write the next book in the series of your life!

Not the greatest but not bad

If your interested in learning more about Bobbie you will here. Basically this is like listening to her read you her diary. Not the greatest thing ever but nice to listen to as I worked. I feel if it was longer I would have gotten bored with it. Nice to have her read it.

Alittle Much

Is there a Family edition? Good book, Good stories, but way to much with the Language. (Heavy Profanity) to much for me.

It All Starts With Our Fathers…

… and ends up with a borderline personality disorder diagnosis. Thank you Bobbie for sharing your story in such a raw, unflinching voice. Thank you for being so honest about the things we ladies always lie about - mostly to ourselves. This book is like talking to a friend. Albeit a gorgeous, famous friend. I was excited to hear dirty Hollywood stories, but I has no idea this would be a story of surviving trauma, abusive relationships, cruel mothers and how they shape us as daughters, finding yourself at 40, of rebirth, and survival. Dang, it was good.

Nice follow up to Dirty Rocker Boys

This is a nice follow up to Bobbie’s Dirty Rocker Boys. It continues Bobbie into her 40’s with lots of funny ups and downs along the way. It touched a lot on her stand up career that I didn’t know much about. It’s also kinda inspirational that someone can reinvent them selves and do what they want to do despite the nay sayers. Wish it was longer!
