About this listen

She's my cherry pie. Tastes so good, make a grown man cry.

Who could forget the sexy "Cherry Pie" girl from hair metal band Warrant's infamous music video? Bobbie Brown became a bona fide vixen for her playful role as the object of lead singer Jani Lane's desires. With her windblown peroxide mane, seductive scarlet lips, and flirtatious curves, she epitomized every man's fantasy. But the wide-eyed Louisiana beauty queen's own dreams of making it big in Los Angeles were about to be derailed by her rock-and-roll lifestyle.

Ever wonder what it's like to f*** a rock star? After her tumultuous marriage to Jani imploded, and her engagement to fast-living Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee ended in a drug haze - followed by his marriage days later to Pamela Anderson - Bobbie decided it was time Hollywood's hottest bachelors got a taste of their own medicine. Step one: get high. Step two: get even. In a captivating, completely uncensored confessional, Bobbie explicitly recounts her encounters with some of the most famous men in Hollywood: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Costner, Mark McGrath, Dave Navarro, Sebastian Bach, Ashley Hamilton, Rob Pilatus of Milli Vanilli, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Orgy's Jay Gordon, and many more. Who's got the most titanic dick in Tinseltown? Whose bedroom did Bobbie (literally) set on fire? No man was off limits as the fun-loving bombshell spiraled into excess, anger, and addiction. Bobbie survived the party - barely - and her riveting, cautionary comeback tale is filled with the wildest stories of sex, drugs, and rock and roll ever told.

Honest and hilarious

she is very honest! I love that. it is not a sob story. It is a play by play of a damage person who keeps damaging herself. Very honest but also hilarious!! laughed out loud on the subway one to many times. really, really great book. I wish you all the best. you really deserve it!!!

Best book I have read in 10 years!

This book was so awesome. I love Bobbie Brown! She made me laugh so hard in her book. I loved her tales of all her life that made we laugh and also be so sad. Her honesty was so refreshing. Bobbie went to High School with my daughter in in LA. So, I remembered her from Star Search....&yes she should have won. I wish her so much success the rest of her life. Bobbie, you truly deserve it. I loved the 80’s. I was born in CA, 5’11 blonde model, and in the 80’s lived in New Orleans. I was a Groupie, and your stories made me laugh non-stop, and reminded me of my own rocker marriage that lasted for 16 years & he broke my heart in the end. I loved the 80’s. I loved the music. But, most of all it was so much fun hearing your hilarious book that reminded me of all those beautiful rocker boys! Thanks Bobbie, Christine

Southern Belle Is a Lady

As a woman basically born and raised in Florida. I'm a 47 year old rock and roll lover. Growing up on Led Zeppelin and REO Speedwagon, Rush and Boston. My first concert was Foghat, Molly Hatchet and BOC. All the 70's music filtered through my house. Gerry Rafferty and Barbara Streisand from mom and dad. The 80's came and engulfed me in a fire fueled bon fire existence with boys and beaches. Motley Crue,AC/DCt and Def Leppard and Whitesnake , Billy Squire and Warrant and Great White and Skid Row and GNR. I skipped school when Appetite for Destruction came out. Fast times at Ridgemont High and Dirty Dancing and Prince , Purple Rain reigned supreme.

I dressed like like Bobbie from the videos I'd seen and wanted to be her. I was the Cherry Pie girl for Halloween.

I have listened to Heroin Diaries and This is gonna hurt. Skid Row and life.

I have often wondered what their side was like

I absolutely loved your story. Solidified alot of what I know about human nature. As much as I hate technology I am grateful that there is this platform for you to share your life.
You are strong and human. Helped me to reaffirm my own worth as a person and individual.

Bobbie is just one of the girls. I already bought her other book and now that I'm finished I can't wait to read it.
When you listen to the other rock stars stories they tie together beautifully.

Great listen 💜 definitely recommend.

it covers all the symptoms of addictive personality traits. each chapter is a deeper step into the crazy drama of fast living, drugs and outcome of over indulgence.

Didn't think I would like it as much as I did!

I obviously knew that Bobbie Brown was extremely gorgeous, but who woulda thought that she was smart, extremely well read and humble with morals and a killer sense of humor? She is not your typical Hollywood starlet by any means; she has compassion for others and is not completely obsessed with herself...She didn't claim any of this, I figured it out by her story and the way in which she told it...She dishes out lots of juicy stuff but does so in a way thats just retelling her honest version, rather than to intentionally dog anyone..For instance, she talks endearingly about several of her exes, even when they've done a whole lot to hurt her, and even though she does make fun of some of them, it's all in jest...Also, I wanted to point out that another big difference between Bobbie and other women known primarily for their beauty in that era is that Bobbie has not posed topless or nude, had a sex tape come out or made porn, even to make ends meet when she was hard up during her addiction, and that is so rare! She's also actually a good writer, as referenced by her storytelling abilities, and the several poems she's written and shared in this book..A couple small criticisms but nothing huge...There were quite a few large gaps throughout the book, and it seems like there was dwelling in certain areas that was unnecessary and other areas where I wish she would have embellished more...The reading in general was good, but it seems like her reciting of certain experiences did not have the emotion behind it that one would expect...Overall, really interesting read!! Worth a read, especially if you came of age in the 90s!!

Honest, real, true.

Couldn’t stop until the book was done! This is a fantastic book. Kudos to Bobbie Brown for sharing such intimate details, the good and the bad, of her life. At the end, and. As she typically did, she holds her head high and has forgiven the people in her life that caused her pain. She can and is healing.

A must read!!
