About this listen

When an alien comes to Earth during the holidays with a list, personal shopper Caroline is tasked to help him find everything he wants… but what he wants is a bride.

Caroline isn't a Scrooge, but the weeks leading to Christmas are not her favorite. The personal shopping department where she works is insanely busy and the clients have crazy requests. Plus, this is her first holiday being single after a bad breakup. When her last appointment of the day is a gorgeous, blue-skinned alien, she isn't too surprised. After all, everyone knows that aliens are real since a species of interstellar warriors revealed themselves and the fact that they'd been defending Earth for decades.

What does startle Caroline is that Griff isn't looking for unique Christmas presents. He's on Earth to find a mate.

Although she reluctantly agrees to help him, finding a bride for an alien isn't as easy as it might seem, especially when word gets out that the hottie is on the market. Between the alien-obsessed women swiping right on his new dating profiles and the paparazzi dogging them, Griff is no closer to finding a bride. He is much closer to his personal shopper, though. If only she didn't think loyal guys were as much of a fantasy as flying reindeer.

Can Griff melt the ice in Caroline's heart and convince her that good things do come in big, blue packages?

Christmas with an Alien is a standalone, sweet and steamy, sci-fi, Christmas, he falls first, romantic comedy. It's loosely connected to the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series, but it can be enjoyed on its own without having listened to any books in that series.

An Entertaining Listen!

Christmas with an Alien was such a delightful, enjoyable listening experience. It's a slow burn romantic comedy that would put anybody in the festive mood. Griff, a Valorian , comes to Earth during the Christmas holidays with a list, and Caroline, a personal shopper, is tasked to help him find the items on the list. The comedic adventure ensues with misunderstandings of Griff's Christmas shopping list and Tinder dates. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this audiobook if you are looking for that guaranteed feel good entertaining story.

Fun and swoony holiday alien romance

I loved, loved Griff and Caroline’s alien-human holiday romance. This is a heartwarming, hilarious and steamy romance full of lovable characters with just a touch of angst. It will give you all the swoony swoons while also pulling at your heartstrings with all the feels. Griff is a blue skinned alien from the planet Valoria. Valorians have recently allied with the Drexians. Aliens who have a long standing tribute bride program with earth to find mates. Caroline is a human who works as a personal shopper at Saks. She is on a dating hiatus after her last BF cheated on her for half their relationship. Griff is sent to Saks to get help with his “holiday shopping list” which turns out to be a list of characteristics for a mate. Caroline is tasked with helping Griff despite it being outside her job description. Thus begins the fun, swoony, and at times absurd journey to Griff and Caroline’s HEA. I loved how their relationship developed organically the more time they spend together while wandering around NYC trying to find a mate for Griff. I also loved how they were both awkwardly adorable in trying not to be attracted to each other. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline as told through sweet moments, spicy scenes, alien physiology and cultures, loyal friends, painful pasts, drama, missteps, secrets, and laughs. I would love to have more books with Valorian heroes. 4.5 stars

Tor Thom and Rachel Music did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.
