The third novel in the number one New York Times best-selling series.
In Circus of the Damned, a rogue master vampire hits town, and Anita gets caught in the middle of an undead turf war. Jean-Claude, the Master Vamp of the city, wants her for his own - but his enemies have other plans. And to make matters worse, Anita takes a hit to the heart when she meets a stunningly handsome junior high science teacher named Richard Zeeman. They're two humans caught in the crossfire - or so Anita thinks.

Where does Circus of the Damned rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is the first of the Laurell K Hamilton books that I ever read and is one of my favorites to listen to. It's definitely in. My top three.Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character is Anita Blake, the title character. This book is early enough in the series that she is still tough, smart, and strong as opposed to whiny and annoying.Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?
Her vocal skills are well showed off with the lamia character.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Years ago this was a random find at a library. Over a decade later I still come back to it for a good mystery and a fast paced plot.Any additional comments?
This is the third in the series. Starting with this book is a great introduction to the author and the narrator without having read or heard any others.Amazing vocal skills
