Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No, Sophie Turner does a good job and is easy to listen to but as soon as Jason Dohring starts reading I lose all interest. His voice is flat and monotone. It's absolutely the worst narration I have heard.

How could the performance have been better?

Replace Jason Dohring and the book would of been fine.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Loved it

Any additional comments?

I wish they would stop changing the narrator's for every book.

Jason Dohring is awful to listen to...

If you could sum up City of Heavenly Fire in three words, what would they be?

Phenomenal series ender

What did you like best about this story?

The writing, the characters. All things Cassandra Clare.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Sophie did an amazing job. Jason used absolutely no inflection at all.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The most fun you'll ever have in a Helldimension.

Sophie is amazing. Jason is beyond painful.

What didn’t you like about Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s performance?

Being that this is the last book in the series, I would think that the characters should not have picked up accents where they had not had them previous. This is for both readers, and the male voice was also very flat and blah, no emotion, monotone.

Any additional comments?

Honestly I will have to read this book myself to be able to enjoy it. If you have a series consistency I feel is a must.

Love the Books but, by far worst narration.

Would you listen to City of Heavenly Fire again? Why?

Yes

What about Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s performance did you like?

Sophie Turner's performance was excellent. I particularly liked her rendition of Emma. I really like Jason Dohring, but I had a hard time listening to his performance. His voice is too monotone for this type of acting.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was definitely on the brink of tears at the end because of what happened to Simon. I could relate to the situation because I lost a friend like Simon.

Any additional comments?

Great conclusion to the series and I look forward to listening to the new series in 2015

Great conclusion

Great lead in to the follow on a story about the LA institute. Clare did a good job of linking in the past books from England.

Excellent wrap up!

Would you listen to City of Heavenly Fire again? Why?

Yes. The book provided a hopeful and satisfying ending to the series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Magnus Bane. He's just a cool dude.

Have you listened to any of Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not heard them read, but have seen both of them perform. I HATED the previous narrators in this series and these two were a huge step up for me. People seem to complain about the fact that Sopie Turner is British and reads with that accent, but if they were paying attention they'd notice that's she does give the overtly American characters an American English inflection and I found myself satisfied with that. Dohring doesn't make grand sweeping inflections. He's subtle, just as he is in other work. I okay with that, possibly because I am familiar with him and his delivery.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

And the saga continues...

Any additional comments?

Loved it. I think people would get used to these two and they will improve with more work. They should utilize them again.

Much better than the previous narrators

Sophie Turner is better. I really wish you wouldn't have kept changing narrators should have left the original.

Jason Dohring is absolutely horrible.

I was given the first book, I could not put it down! the last time I had that feeling of, oh no the book, the last page nooo. was Harry Potter. now Having read the first one I nought all the books and read them all in two weeks. I'm not a fast reader, but five books in two weeks was fast for me. I was so sad after reading the fifth book, my friend who got me addicted told me the sixth one is coming out the four days. I prevent ordered and sat down. I love everything about the books. I'm sad you have no control over the TV series. I hope they keep the original cast, they were perfect. xoxo keep writing love, it helps us get through the day.

I loved it, well done Cassandra.
