About this listen

From the moment I caught his scent, I knew he was mine.…

I never thought I’d meet my mate at the dentist’s office, but when I take my daughter to get her tooth pulled, he’s right there waiting. I recognize Jamie’s scent as soon as I walk in, and it’s making my inner wolf crazy. And when I see how great he is with my daughter, my heart melts. I need him to be mine.

We’re scorched by the heat of our chemistry, and I can’t get enough of the man. But when Jamie starts to pull away, I don’t know if I can keep the omega as my own.

Fate brought us together, but I need a man who is proud to call me and my daughter his own. Family is everything to me, but it’s only brought my omega heartache. Can we find a way to overcome the difference? Or will Jamie’s fears break both of our hearts?

loved it!

In many omegaverse books when fated mates meet the romance progresses too fast and I don't mind but I really liked it that the main characters in the book took time to actually get to know each other and see if they work well together. The extra obstacles they faced made the story even more interesting. I had a great time listening the book and I thought that the narrator was great.

Crazy Good

Another good story from Liam Kingley. Was a pleasant experience following Tuck and Jamie to the end. Christopher Kauzlarick also did his part beautifully. Although I did not read the other book in the series, it was easy to follow, will be reading the rest of the series soon.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Very cute story!

This was the first book I listened to in this series and I really enjoyed it. The fact that even though they were fated mates they still took their time building a relationship was refreshing. I mean yes it went faster than most relationships but it wasn't the smell your mate and then claim them instantly kind of thing. The storyline was very well done with the angst coming from outside sources and not a matter of something stupid like miscommunication. This was also my first time listening to Christopher Kauzlarich and I rather enjoyed it. The voices were distinctive and the story flowed well.

Sweet love story

The love story was nice. Good installment in the series, interesting dynamic between the alpha and the omega. Cute kid involved. Over the top drama, but it was fun to see love win out in the end. Would have been nice to have more focus on the pregnancy, but otherwise an enjoyable listen.

Not the typical claiming story

This was a nice story about a single alpha dad finding his mate in the unlikeliest of places. Since the omega Jamie has family issues to deal with, it’s a good thing fate gave him a strong alpha.

While the story is part of the series, I listened to it on its own and felt it was great as a stand-alone. I may go back and read the whole series to see some of the other couples mentioned but I didn’t miss anything by skipping ahead.

Sweet Fated Mate

I haven't listened/read any of the others in this series and normally that bothers me but with this one I didn't feel like I was missing anything but I will be going back and catching up on the others. Kauzlarich is a new to me narrator and I really enjoyed his performance, it really enhanced the whole story as a good narrator should. The story itself was sweet and interesting, just enough angst to keep it exciting but not annoying and though fated mates they took it "slower" which I appreciated. Overall a good listen.

Tucker and Jamie

Claiming the Dentist is book 7 in the Blackwater Pack series. This is a book about Tucker, an alpha and single dad, and Jamie, an omega who is having to deal with his controling mother. When Tuck's daughter Amy needs to see a dentist it's Jamie who they see. Fate brought them together but they have to be stong enough to stay together. I love how protective Tuck is when it comes to his family and that included Jamie from the very start. This book is full of family drama from Jamie's mother that will keep you on your toes.
I recommend this book and can't wait for more from Blackwater.
Narrator Christopher Kauzlarich does a fabulous job.

Another great series entry

Beware of death bed promises. Jamie promised his Dad before he died that he would always look after his Mom and keep her "happy". Unfortunately, Jamie took this way too seriously and has let her run his life ever since. To say the woman is a snob, doesn't begin to tell how awful she is. Tucker owns the bar in Blackwater and when his daredevil daughter chips a tooth jumping off the jungle gym he takes her to see the dentist - none other than his fated mate Jamie. Can Jamie ever stand up to Mom? Can Tuck get over the abandonment by Amy's omega Gareth? It's a romance, so you know the answers but man is it wonderful to follow the path to get to the happily ever after. I adore this series. All the MC are wonderful, decent, loving people that I wish I knew for real and every book has at least one seriously dangerous villain. The villain in this one is too close to home and threatens the lives and livelihood of our couple. It takes a demonstration of the true power of an alpha to unlock the secret behind the evil and surprisingly enough redeem a character who seemed irredeemable. There is a great showdown and a wonderful happy ending with new additions to the Blackwater pack and a the beginning of a new romance. The narrator is a new one for me and he does a great job here. He switches easily between the older and younger voices and each character is distinct and identifiable. The timbre of his voice is smooth and easy to listen to for hours.
