Great collection and good addition!

This is a great companion piece to go along with the Rising and City of the Dead. If you've read those books, this is definitely a big bonus for you. However this can be read or listened to as a standalone as well. Either way it's definitely worth grabbing a copy of.

The deadly dyad continue to destroy your mind

Hempel and Keene are quite the pair. I only wish Edgar Allen Poe had someone to narrate his tales as well as Hempel does here for Keene. This is a brilliant collection of short stories set in Keene's little Zombieverse he's created. I'm assuming you've read his stuff, or love zombies if you're peeking at this book. Get it you won't be disappointed.

A very good collection of Rising shorts

I enjoyed this collection of short shorts set in the world of The Rising. Read fast with no shortness of entertainment value. The narrator did an excellent job and paced all of the stories perfectly.

End of the world

The end of the world from multiple perspectives. Full of laughs and heart, and Keene zombies. Bleak af and devoid of all hope. I really enjoyed this. Solid performance by Joe Hempel.

Great stuff

A nice collection of stories from Keene’s mythos. Highly recommend after reading the City of the Dead.

Was and Still Is.

incredible. I read this collection of short stories gotta be a decade or more ago now. Still have a first edition copy of the book. Was excited to check them out on Audible. This collection, like all works from Brian Keene, is a trip into a darker realm of horror fiction than most dare to venture. But those journeys will always be thrilling and you won't return the same reader (or listener) you were before diving in. I beseech you: Read. Keene.

Talking zombies are whiners

The story’s can be defined into either touchy filly or borderline sociopathic. It’s really Random factoids for new listeners has I got this book an only has I got to the third story did I realized this was an anthology for a series. That all gets me hard to like the book has I missing key facts but I can only blame my self
