About this listen

Something very strange is happening in LeHorn's Hollow.

Eerie, piping music is heard late at night, and mysterious fires have been spotted deep in the woods. Women are vanishing without a trace overnight, leaving behind husbands and families.

When up-and-coming novelist Adam Senft stumbles upon an unearthly scene, it plunges him and the entire town into an ancient nightmare. Folks say the woods in LeHorn's Hollow are haunted, but what waits there is far worse than any ghost. It has been summoned...and now it demands to be satisfied.

Brian Keene is awesome

The story is interesting and if you are familiar with Keene’s work there are a lot explanations about the villains and there are tie-ins with other stories

I couldn't stop reading

I loved this book because it wasn't just basic run of the mill scary story. Supernatural with mythological creatures this book has it all. This is not a book for non adults...

pretty original

I really like Brian Keene. his books always excite me. this was my least favorite of his though. the story was original and i think he did a decent job with it but it just didn't grab me like all of his other ones. still entertaining though.

this book was good but very graphic. this is not for the faint of heart. I found it disturbing. the narrator did a good job.

Definitely a Brian Keene Fan

Really great audiobook. I like Brian Keene's work alot. Only thing I didn't like was that a certain character didn't make it out of the hollow. No spoilers, but his was the saddest death.

Excellent story. Not for the faint of heart.

Intense and heavy storyline but 100% worth the listen. My only issue was at the end with the fate of Big Steve - that was difficult to listen to, but the whole story was excellent.

Brian Keene knocks it out of the park.

Creepy story. Brian always impresses me one of the best authors out there. With out giving to much away this Adam's journey will keep you on the edge of your toes folks. Mr. Keene is every bit as good as Stephen King if not better in my opinion. I hope to see Mr. Keene's books Dead Sea and Earthworm Gods on Audible soon please!

Ten plus on the creepy factor

Dark Hollow definitely gives me a reason not to venture into any dark regions of a forest. This book is creative, descriptive and full of dark magic and gore. If you love gore, mythology dark magic and gore I highly recommend this book. The only thing I did not like was the very end. Chet Williamson narration brought this book so alive I will never think of flute music the same way again. I received this book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review here of my own volition. Do not miss this amazing book.
